Troubles Land

Pros: Good for platformer beginners Diverse gameplay Sound and music is okay Graphics are okay Some of the level design is cool but some will make you go "why?" Getting all achievements is easy Some SHMUP action later on in the game Cons: Sloppy controls Sloppy placement of gems FPS is locked at 30 while playing Not many audio or video options Game too short for being so easy Overall Rating: 5.0/10 Would only recommend it for beginners but it isn't terrible and I had some fun with it. Can't really say it's worth $5. More like $2.50 would be a fair price for what it is.

This game feels like someone's first foray into building games. Unfinished, without polish, haphazardly put together and clearly copying Rayman games, word for word. Originality? None. Optimized? Not at all, frame rate capped at 30 and feels slugish. Platforming? Suffering as a result, jumping is closer to floating. 1/10 Just go play Rayman instead.

well i see theres a lot of peoples disliking this game. i honestly don't quite understand, yes this game is heavily inspired by rayman legends, yes it's short, yes the controles are sloppy... But this game is only 5 bucks. For less than a charging cable you have a charming 2.5D plateformer with a lot of good looking levels, bosses, different types of gameplay and amazing musics

The platforming controls are terrible, four of the levels in a row are empty, boring schmups, there's no story beyond the opening cutscene, and the final boss is a nameless joke. Best parts were the OST, submarine sections, and that ONE level with all the traps and gears toward the end.

Troubles Land is a steam videogame featuring a canvas bag of shaky diamonds in artificial rayman colors weighed with a swinging slightly note. The controls are well done in uneasy lobby buttons!!! BUT I DONT LIKE THE THIRD WORLD its terrible.. The level design is deserted in chambers of creativity with sensitive areas darted back and forth. I give this game a 9.1/10 for trying something different in unusual methods like a nutty brain sliding his bony back breathalizer monologue love the burrito master

This game is a train wreck. It's like someone tried to bootleg an early alpha version of Rayman Origins or Rayman Legends while simultaneously avoiding putting in any actual effort towards game quality. I do not see any originality and the level layouts are outright bland. The mechanics are atrocious all round with bad camera angles, blind jumps, wonky hit/collision detection, inconsistent checkpoints, and a glitched sword attack to name just a few. The claim for full controller support? That's false advertising at the time of this review. I had to manually map over half of the controls myself. Avoid this game at all costs. It's not worth your time and it's not worth your money.
