About Glitch's Trip
A PLANET'S LAST HOPE
Glitch is chilling at his favorite local haunt when he sees something impossible in the sky: his home planet’s moons seem to be hemorrhaging life-giving Moon Juice—and what are those giant breweries sucking it all up? If Glitch doesn’t find out what’s going on and put a stop to it soon, all of the Moon Juice will be siphoned away and his own world won’t survive. Take control of the lovable hero in an action-packed, twitch-paced platformer that’s equal parts relentless and charming.

EXPLORE THE MOONS
Travel around planet Verdo’s four unique moons, each boasting extravagant environments, and trippy themes. With 100 handcrafted levels, there’s a lot to experience.
WATCH OUT
Explosive platforms, snipers, gravity wells, charging brutes, lava, lasers, spikes, and so much more. With over 40 unique hazards and 16 killer enemies, you’ll never run out of danger.
GLITCH OUT
Glitch has a unique ability to get out of crazy near-death situations through becoming intangible. Use the ability to affect the environment in wild ways through toggling hidden blocks, flipping gravity, or making areas weightless.
EPIC BOSSES
4 epic bosses stand in your way to save Verdo. Liberate each moon from the tyrant occupying it and unlock the story of how they were corrupted by Moon Juice many years ago.
NO NEED TO WAIT
The four moons are dangerous environments but nothing will deter Glitch from saving his planet. Instant respawns and fast load times make it easier to get you back into the game and improve your progress.

Glitch's Trip is a high-energy indie action platformer that confidently blends arcade intensity with modern design sensibilities. Developed and published by Ransacked Studios, the game delivers a tightly focused experience built around speed, precision, and constant player engagement. Rather than leaning heavily on narrative exposition or complex systems, Glitch’s Trip establishes its identity through kinetic gameplay, vibrant presentation, and a relentless demand for mechanical mastery that will resonate strongly with fans of challenging, skill-driven platformers. The premise is simple but effective, providing just enough context to motivate the action. The alien world of Verdo is under threat as its moons are drained of their vital energy by mysterious interstellar forces, and Glitch, the game’s expressive and energetic protagonist, sets out to stop it. This setup serves primarily as a thematic backdrop, allowing the game to move quickly into what it does best: throwing players into dense, hazard-filled stages where survival depends on reflexes, spatial awareness, and smart use of abilities. The light narrative framing keeps momentum high and ensures the pacing never stalls. Ga…2 found this helpful
Glitch's Trip is yet another of literally thousands of 2D retro platformers infesting Steam and lowering the average quality of all video games everywhere. It's a handheld (Nintendo Switch)/console game that's also been put on Steam as a bit of an afterthought, as it's very much designed for the handheld/console gaming audience. There's some pointless "plot" about intergalactic breweries destroying your planet, which means you need to do some precision platforming with an inprecise control scheme. There's also a bit of shooting, wall jumping, and you get a neat little shield with a timer (and you can't move when the timer is on). From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. While there are options to change the resolution for the game, all this does is scale up the simplistic 2D art assets used to make the game, which makes little or no difference to the graphics quality. Without any other substantial graphics tweaks, it's not possible for gamers to improve the lacklustre 2D visuals. The game features simple, cartoony 2D graphics, of the type you normally expect to see in low effort mobile apps. 3D g…2 found this helpful
Glitches jump like at a disco every level is a logic test and I still don't see the point here.1 found this helpful
Fall Guys used to be my favorite game until terrible updates ruined it, and now this is my new favorite!1 found this helpful
This game is not fun to play because of the very weird controls that depart from standard platforming conventions. For some reason that I do not understand you have to use the left trigger for jump. The jump feels very floaty and wall jumping is a real pain in the @$$. And the game utilizes some sort of "freeze mechanic" which freezes you in mid-air and makes you temporarily invincible. This mechanic is also used to activate switches.
Looks very vibrant and the glitch mechanic is cool but I tried on Challenge difficulty and sadly it's a no from me.
