About Mass Vector

Mass Vector is a physics based game of skill and patience designed to be played by all the family.

In fact it's really 2 games in one with 50 speed levels and 50 Hazard levels.

The Speed levels are against the clock and are designed to reward the fastest players. These levels may look simple but when you are racing to get the fastest time you need to keep your cool.

The 50 Hazard levels on the other hand are not timed but they will require skill, patience and perseverance to complete. On the hardest difficulty level they are very hard!

The idea is simple. Manoeuvre your ship by controlling its thrusters. Pick up the coloured blocks using your tractor beam and place them on the green platforms. What could be simpler. Of course it's not that straight forward. The coloured blocks come in different shapes and sizes and range from light (Green) to heavy (Blue) which makes them awkward to move and control with your ship. To help lift the heavy blocks you will need to visit the Boost stations, and visiting the Repair stations will repair your ship when it has been damaged.

The first 10 speed levels guide you through what to do and how to do it. Plus they help you gain points which can be used to buy upgrades for your ship when playing the Hazard levels.

The 4 player profiles mean you can play against your friends and family. Each profile stores all of that players preferences and scores.

* 4 Player profiles for local competition.
* 3 Difficulty settings.
* Keyboard & Mouse control.
* Xbox controller control. Including full menu options control.
* 7 great music tracks.

Decent controls and good performance but otherwise the game is pretty lifeless. Ultimately though I had to stop playing it because of the frustration factor. Navigating through a complex level once is fine but making me traverse it multiple times with no checkpoints in between is just torture.

A fun game but you guys should really consider making some of the levels easier or at least lowering the required times for each medal. Nice controls and all though:)

There's no doubt this game is not for the faint-hearted but its value lies in the challenge. I like the usual lander style game and thought this may be of the same style but was surprised at the ease of the control and the ability for delicate touches which is definately required here. Using a keyboard I was easily able to manipulate the trickier levels. I've played a few hours at present and although I can't play it for too long - maybe 30 minutes at a time - I keep coming back for more and even though I wouldn't say I am an expert I'm improving my score over time. The asthetic is very stylish and the color scheme and audio have been well worked out and clearly it's a labor of love with some fine attention to detail throughout. I certainly would recommend the game for those who want a challenge as clearly it isn't a game to play while you eat a sandwich. I'm sure with some tweaking to the difficulty balance could see this game become rather less frustrating and move it into a more enjoyable category. Far too difficult for the average player and there are far more of those than are playing this game. Altogether though a finely crafted and well designed game way above the regula…

Was digging this game's physics and gameplay and controls but got stuck at around level 5. Will probably come back to it later but this is just too difficult. I don't mind a challenge but this is pretty ridiculous.
