Brick Breaker (2017)

It's fine at best. Very much on par with flash games of yore. I have a couple problems with it I can't look past though. - This game needs VSync or frame limitation. Badly. I don't need to be blasting this at 2000 fps so my GPU starts cooking. - The paddle has a limiter on how fast it can move, which is wildly unnecessary - Some of the physics are funky I paid $1 for it, so I'm not mad, but these are relatively basic things that can be fixed by the developer. Definitely feels like a first game sort of situation.

It's a Break Out game. Not much to really say. Pretty fun though. Although I would recommend getting this game during a sale rather than at full price. $10 is a bit too much for a game everyone and their grandmother have played a clone of at some point in time... It is a good game and they had a certain style with it and that is OK. But I do not like small things: - Menu sound is too loud. - The paddle lags somehow. Something is wrong. - As people already have pointed out: The ball needs to be triggered by keyboard but should be by mouse click. I had the feeling I don't like the game although it was obviously an okay game and it felt unfair, so I checked the review section and found others who think alike. It could be worth the 0,99 bucks. I still had a nice hour gaming ^^

This game feels like something has gone seriously wrong somewhere. The controls and gameplay feel sluggish, and it doesn't feel like any part of the actual game is running at 60 FPS. The ball, animations, and general gameplay all feel noticeably slow and unresponsive. The menus seem to be the only part of the game that feels smooth. For a game as simple as Brick Breaker, I honestly have no idea how they managed to get so much of the game wrong. The overall presentation and gameplay feel strangely unpolished and poorly put together. I paid just £0.69 for it in a sale, and even at that price I don't think it's worth buying, let alone paying full price. I can easily say that I do not recommend buying this game.
