I have no idea why this title gets praised so much. Sure it's a fun game from time to time, but to call it an accurate simulation? I can just mass produce beef at a loss at the start of the game to gain 100% market share and then just dominate. The AI competition has no chance to keep up with the player. I find this game too easy and with too many exploits to be considered a good simulation. But it is fun to play from time to time, so I still recommend it.

played this game then was introduced to capitalism lab which is on enlights website. I highly reccomend this game but if you want the game to be further developed and get more dlcs and great content. go to enlights website and buy capitalism lab. Its just this game but with 10x more content and options. plus they listen to the community and are actively still creating more dlcs that players are actually asking for.

Fantastic economic simulation game. You run a holding company that starts up subsidiary businesses across multiple industries (real estate and housing, retail, industry, etc.) and have to manage the supply chains and businesses. Things that make profit do well. Things that don't make profit drag you down. Fantastic game. And since it came out in 2001, it can easily run on pretty much every graphics card made in the last decade.

Awful. First getting it to even open was Russian roulette, it crashed most of the time on the menu screen. The tutorial really leaves you out to dry, I had absolutely no idea what to do. Even more annoying is the ads that keep telling you to go to a website (that isn't steam) to buy the bigger and better improved version of this game named 'Capitalism Labs'. This website looks like a scammer trap, the type that you accidently click and get infected with spyware. No way should anybody type their bank card details into it. If it was legit they would sell it on Steam or GOG but they don't which says a lot.

Great game. I truly get lost in time when playing this
