About Odysseus Kosmos and his Robot Quest (Complete Season)
Odysseus Kosmos and his Robot Quest (Complete Season) is a pixelated sci-fi adventure where you solve clever puzzles and uncover mysterious disappearances aboard the research vessel San-Francisco while managing lazy engineer Odysseus and his enigmatic robot companion Barton. Welcome aboard San-Francisco, a scientific vessel exploring the outer reaches of space. 30 years ago, the ship’s crew has mysteriously vanished leaving two members behind – lazy board engineer Odysseus, who adores coffee and cookies and robot Barton that seems to know more than it’s willing to tell. One morning the ship’s equipment has malfunctioned, cute laboratory rats are eyeing Oddy with hunger in their sparkly eyes, and on a top of all that – the coffee has gone bad!

Odysseus Kosmos and his Robot Quest (Complete Season) is a retro point-and-click adventure with an ambitious and emotionally engaging sci-fi story that ultimately struggles under the weight of tedious, unintuitive puzzles that often feel more like pixel-hunting exercises than logical challenges. Players consistently praise the narrative, art, and music, but the gameplay frequently frustrates due to unpredictable puzzle design and obtuse solutions that punish clear thinking rather than reward it.

Extremely ambitious story, killed by very tedious puzzles. The creator might be an enginneer himself as the majority of tasks are about repairing/building/sabotaging something in a very -- too ! -- detailed manner, often unpredictable. If you are ready to go through this... the story is really interesting. I recommand to use the walkthrough (which doesn't mean it will be easy). I recommand also to do all the achievement on first run, as it's the only way to have the real ending.2 found this helpful
Puzzles are unintuitive and it all feels like a slog. Some aren't even puzzles, just click randomly until you find the pixel that you need to hit. The story idea is interesting and I find the art and music good, but they are buried under a mountain of frustration.1 found this helpful
"Odysseus Kosmos and his Robot Quest (Complete Season)" is insanely overpriced pixelcrap. This is a point and click retro adventure with poor graphics, poor translation, and poor plot. Think of this as a crappy ripoff of The Secret of Monkey Island, but from Temu. The plot involves being stuck on a space station or whatever, with a robot, and you need to work out what's going on by clicking around on hotspots. The game tries to differentiate from Day of the Tentacle by doing things differently. For one, being incredibly unfunny and badly written. Also, a focus on puzzle minigames over inventory management... which in a lot of ways is problematic. The puzzles aren't well made, and often deliberately unintuitive... not rewarding clear thinking, but punishing it to be "random, ha ha". They segue into each other badly... it's shoddily assembled at the high and low levels. It's un-fun and unengaging. This game has been translated from some other language into English... badly. If this was done through Google Translate, Google Translate should feel ashamed of itself. Regardless, the language in this game is broken and will put off a lot of gamers. From a technical perspecti…1 found this helpful

Odysseus Kosmos and his Robot Quest: Adventure Game is a heartfelt tribute to the golden age of point-and-click adventures, blending retro sensibilities with a melancholic science-fiction premise. Developed by Pavel Kostin and published by HeroCraft PC, the game takes players aboard the lonely starship *San Francisco*, which has been orbiting a black hole for years. The story centers on Odysseus Kosmos, a slacker engineer who passes his days tinkering, procrastinating, and bantering with his loyal robot companion, Barton Quest, while waiting for his crewmates to return from a mission that—due to the effects of time dilation—has stretched far longer for him than for them. What begins as a humorous depiction of idleness soon evolves into a quietly emotional and reflective story about isolation, the passage of time, and the persistence of hope in the emptiness of space. The visual presentation of Odysseus Kosmos is one of its strongest aspects. Rendered in detailed pixel art that feels lovingly crafted, every corridor, laboratory, and control room of the *San Francisco* conveys both a sense of scale and solitude. The lighting, subdued colors, and intricate environmental details add t…
