A simple and addictive bow shooter with surprising challenge levels. The difficulty ramps up nicely offering the chance to improve your bow skills before facing the next challenge level. The bow mechanics and physics are very satisfying and it's nice to see skill shots being rewarded . Expect to move around quite a bit as you attempt to avoid incoming projectiles. The music is both pleasant and unobtrusive to the experience. Includes both local and global leader boards. Overall a great value especially if you like bow shooters. Isle in the Sky is a small-scale virtual reality action game that builds its identity around archery, survival, and physical movement. Developed by Jan-Fredrik Braseth and published by Fome Productions, the game embraces the straightforward design philosophy common among early room-scale VR experiences. Instead of providing a lengthy story or complicated progression system, it places the player on an isolated island high above the ground and asks them to survive increasingly dangerous situations through accurate shooting and quick physical reactions. Archery forms the foundation of the gameplay. Players use motion controllers to handle a bow, draw arrows, aim, and fire at approaching threats. The concept is immediately understandable, but the challenge comes from having to perform these actions while simultaneously protecting yourself. Incoming hazards cannot always be solved by firing an arrow, so players must physically duck, lean, dodge, and shift position. This combination gives the game more energy than a conventional virtual archery range and makes body movement an important part of surviving each attempt.
