Loptice is a small indie arcade puzzle shooter created and published by Aleksandar Dakic that attempts an unusual blend of mechanics rarely seen together in the same game. At its core, the title combines the color-matching logic of classic puzzle games with the immediacy and pressure of a first-person shooter. Instead of presenting players with a story-driven adventure or expansive world, the game focuses almost entirely on a single gameplay concept: defending against waves of incoming colored spheres by firing projectiles that create matching combinations. This simple idea forms the foundation of the entire experience, transforming a familiar puzzle mechanic into a more action-oriented challenge where speed and accuracy become just as important as strategy. The central gameplay revolves around shooting colored balls toward approaching clusters of spheres that move steadily toward the player. In order to eliminate them, players must match three or more balls of the same color. When the correct combination is formed, the group disappears, clearing space and preventing the advancing line from reaching the player’s position.
