You can look at the trailer and see exactly what you are getting yourself into. It is a bit lacking in addictive and fun factor and therefore not really for me either. You use the WASD keys to rotate the big cube around and you have to click on the red squares as they show up on the big cube. Your cube squares will turn red upon first strike from an incoming projectile, and a second strike, if you do not turn it back to being grey, will cause you to lose health and your streak/points modifier. The modifer increase up to 10x by you successfully clicking on where you need to without mistakes and without losing health. So if you randomly click on grey squares you will lose your multiplier. This game is not very forgiving, despite appearances of having 3 difficulty levels. Even normal is rather difficult. I don't know, what kept me playing, probably wanted to see how far I could get, rather than ignoring it and leaving it on the "shelf". It's a very skill based game, that tend to be very repeatable, fast and colourful at the same time, and likely not very healthy for the eyes either, so you might just want to leave it on the "shelf" after all.

I wouldn't recommend this game even with its really low price, especially to anyone who is sensible to flashy lights. This game is "difficult" for all the wrong reasons: -Bugs, mainly the game counting an error if you hit a red square too fast right after it got hit from a laser, and squares turning red for no reason without any laser touching them. -The background is terrible, it exists only to annoy you and to give you a headache the more you play, it's useless and it just makes the game ten times worse. -Your cursor being almost of the same colour as the little blue squares really complicates thing for no reason, especially if your eyes are suffering from the awful background. -Sometimes when you take damage your square can move right at the border of the screen, making it impossible to see incoming lasers, or red squares on the nearby faces. One of the most annoying things is that there's no save system or quick access to the hardest level. If you want to play level 3 you either need to start a new run or never close the game once you reach it. Want to take a break? Gotta leave this game open the whole time.

Very simple reaction based game with actually pretty banger tunes. Yes its not really super polished game but I enjoyed my time trying to get that 20k points in every difficulty. 5/10. Fun challenge. Cube Defender 2000 is a minimalist mobile app style game where you spin a cube around and tap on the squares on each face to turn them back to grey after they get shot and turn red. That's all there is to it, just see how long you can keep going. It's less involved than a Rubiks cube. I don't know how this stuff gets on Steam, I guess the app stores rejected it because I didn't see it on any of them. Anyway, there's little to no gameplay here, this is just bundle worsening shovelware and has no merit as a proper PC game.
