I quite enjoyed this journey, on many levels. With the game functions helpful and controls intuitive, I could experience the adventure, dialogue and story arc, without distraction. Puzzles are not generic and felt, mostly, immersive to the style and content of the story. Achievements are easily enough attainable, so grind or replay is avoidable. This is the first of a series, so I am looking forward to more from the galactic cadets.

⭐ Recommended I'll be honest, I'm not much into sci-fi. But the story of this game pulled me in anyway, and I'm glad it did. The characters were all great. Even though sci-fi isn't usually my thing, I kept wanting to find out what happens next. What really surprised me is that there isn't a single battle in the whole game. That was a first for me with an RPG Maker title. Instead it plays more like an old-school adventure game. You search locations for items, combine them, and work out how to make things function. It reminded me of classic point-and-click adventures, and the puzzles fit the story nicely rather than feeling tacked on. Overall a well done little game. I really enjoyed it, and at around €0.70 on sale the price is almost embarrassing. If you fancy a cozy story-driven adventure, give it a go.

Finished the Space Pilgrim saga and wanted to say thank you. The characters, worldbuilding, and story stayed with me long after I finished. It was one of the most memorable RPG Maker experiences I've ever had. Thanks again

Oof.. I'm sorry to say I'm not really feeling this Academy thing, going to class and taking tests. I thought we would still follow Gail and her friends, doing some kind of training or something, like adult academy. I just recently figured out that the term "academy" is commonly used in anime. Feels like Pilgrim Academy is trying to appeal to teenagers who love anime and japanese high school games, the vibes are so different from the first 4 episodes. I will keep going even though I'm struggling to click the play-button. Hopefully this teenage drama won't go on for too long (there can't be 4 games of this school stuff?!), and then we can get back to Gail and her travels.
