Bullet Witch

I knew going in that this wouldn't be a life changing game, but it was w hole lot better than I expected. The story is that of an 80's B movie which I actually liked. The thing that was confusing was where to go at times but it was not game breaking. The gameplay was ok despite it being an older game that was ported less than a decade ago to PC. Overall I think that I'll be replaying this game again. And if there was a sequel that had the same tone I would buy it.

Game RULES its the exact kind of B game jank we don't get anymore, it is captial letters VIDEO GAME. To highlight how AWESOME the game is I'd like to highlight somehting that happened in the frst level. I was walking down this small subrub screet on a downward hill when I pressed the dodge button, jsut to do it, and i ended up doing this big side twirl jump and landed on a railing in front of an enemy who turned iunto me in that janky way and then I unloaded a whole clip into him. The game over the few hours that it takes to beat it has a bunch of moments like this intital and not.

I love me a fine kusoge every once in a while. I'm not doing 5 whole playthroughs to get all the achievements though.

An early xbox 360 game it lacks any kind of polish even by the standards of the time. It had the potential to be just as venerated as bayoneta but a combination of what i assume was a shoe string budget and a tight deadline killed all of it's potential. Still if you get it on sale it's still a solid but somewhat short game worth exploring.

Probably a really good game back when it came out, but by todays standards it has not aged well at all. Controls are awfully clunky (tried playing on controller at first and then switched to mouse and keyboard, felt way more comfortable). [spoilers] Story is short, simple and easy to understand, but still kinda tragic which i really liked. The enemies are gross but the possesed humans really freaked me out, specially on chapter 5 when youre walking around a foggy forest. Despite its flaws, game was really fun and i loved it, id sell my soul for a remake or sequel (Especially if it means more Alicia, absolutely loved her).

Characters and story deserved a better gameplay, but i love this ps2/ps3 look the game has.
