Drumming

I stared at it for a few minutes not knowing what the hell to do. Somehow the tutorial wasnt helping me. Then I went into pattern editor. Set up a fun little drum beat. Picked up the ol acoustic and let er rip. So now I have a practicing drummer that doesnt forget to show up. For a measly $5 10/10

As of now I think this definitively needs improvement. I can see that it is an interesting concept, but there are major problems. Problem one is that your drumsticks don't rebounce from the surface as they would do in real playing. That leads to you hitting through the drum, and when you move up to beat again, you go through the drum, cause a sound, and then back down through the drum with the next strike. Sounds and feels awful. Then there is the trouble with the missing bass drum, which is emulated through a fingerklick on the trigger. Not working for me, as it completely disturbs my drumming rythm. Unless there will be some kind of pedal controller one solution would be to have the bass drum as a pattern you can set up and which loops in the background. One big problem will always be the latency of course, from controller movement to -sensing and then from collission detection to sound output. But well, it IS a Beta, so let's see how the final product will work out. I'll take a break until after the next update/s.

In my opinion, a good game as it is, with the possibility to make it way better on the horizon. i bought this game excited to try out some digital drumming (as a real-life drummer myself) and was almost immediately charmed by this game. the editor is relatively simple to understand, and fun. After 20 or so minutes of tinkering a cool rhythm for one of the demo pieces. I genuinely felt a rush, having made a cool little rhythm, and it kind of opened me up to what this game could become. I think, with a few improvements, this game could be ome relevant to a huge audience; it just needs some brushing up. Here's what i think should be added/improved to make the game loads better: - Allow for custom-length rhythms to be written (right now, you can only write 4 beats of music, which closes opportunities to easily write for 3/4 music, longer and more complicated rhythms, and more complicated techniques like triplets). if the editor was extended to allow for these, it would elevate the game tremendously. - improve the tutorial. I read a lot of reviews, and one of the biggest issues people have is with the tutorial. it told me everything i needed, but possibly extending it to explain the…

This is the best game I ever played, it elevated my music to the next level and I am now touring the world playing sold out shows in countries like Russia, Israel, China, North Korea and South Sudan! thank you Trash Games Studios. you changed my life

Tutorial doesnt tell you how to play besides the same thing, i mashed buttons and still couldnt play anything else, its very confusing

This game is fun for like 3 minutes it might be more fun for like a 3-4-year-old. I do not recommend this game. 2/10
