Not a drummer but I somewhat leaned to play drums by playing drum beats VR. Drum Master VR is just a free play kit to just bang on. This is probably the best looking kit I've seen in VR and it feels nice and satisfying. Criticisms from people who are "real drummers" I wouldn't let that put you off because being a real drummer can actually be a disadvantage when you have to adjust to something new. It's like coming from real boxing and thinking that means you'll be good at VR boxing. The graphics customization is nice too has great ambiance and you can dial in the lighting to make it look very realistic. Has options for connecting a foot pedal. I also like that it makes a noise when you hit the sticks together. You can flip the sticks and catch them too...nice. feels like a drum kit simulation. The sticks have physics and roll around on the drums. The sounds seem good to my untrained ear. Price is a little high for what it is but worth it if you just want to bang on the drums in some good looking environments.

If you have low expectations, you'll enjoy yourself. Being a drummer for the last 22 years, it's not optimized enough for fast movement. For $15.50 AUD, there's not enough content to satisfy paying for this. If it were an Early Access, I would be hopeful, if the Devs were there, but they aren't. This is a good example of a quick build for a good cash grab. Sad. So much potential for something good. But let down by having only one drum sound and very limited movement to arrange drums. If you buy this, don't expect much. Expect about a dollars worth of content.

as an irl drummer this game is absolute ♥♥♥♥. i dont even know what i expected. drumming requires bouncing and physics to play but this game has none of those

Very buggy experience. I spawned under the floor and couldn't even play.

As of this review I have 2.8 hours on this game. I really hope the devs are planning on adding more, as the drum sounds get bland over time and leaves a bit to be desired. However, it is really fun to just get in, play your favorite song, and try to play along with them. I've never touched a real drum set in my life, but this satisfies that desire. I would love to see some different types of drums as well as some different scenes to play in. It would be really cool if you could customize your own set, as in being able to choose your snares, crashes, hi-hats all separately instead of choosing from an entire set.

I spawned under the map and when i've finally managed to get my drums in front of me, I've accidentally closed the game.
