RIP game, you were too poorly implemented for this world

Really great old school MMO/ARPG. The game is in desperate need of players and end game content though, I feel like there should be some kind of end game raid system that requires groups, it would give more purpose to clans and something to do for players who are level 90+. If you like games like WoW, Diablo, and Everquest this game feels like a solid balance between the three except instead of questing you just run dungeons either solo or with other players online, the amount of enemies and the enemies themselves scale with group size quite nicely making this game enjoyable regardless of party size.

I bought this game because I wanted to support the developer because their Civilization Revolution videos were a great watch, and I thought he was a pretty cool dude, but clearly I waited too long to actually try it out because when it comes to the online, it's dead. I saw just one other player (as of writing) but they did not communicate with me at all and I assume they were just doing their own thing. They seemed to be at a pretty decent level too, so perhaps they were just a poor soul hoping to salvage something out of this title, but alas... The store page says "Nevergrind Online was designed with multiplayer in mind, though the game may also be enjoyed solo," and that's definitely true—this game clearly was made for multiplayer, but I vehemently disagree: going about it solo, at least for me, was a drab experience. I honestly started nodding off at one point, it's just that boring. This game clearly shouldn't be advertised as enjoyable solo whatsoever. The developer kicked around the option of hiring mercenaries in 2023, then pushed the idea to 2024, then 2025...but nothing was ever done. I don't know about you, but that's seriously a downer for me. I couldn't imagine playing…

Now this is genuinely fun with no need or prompting to use hard earned dollars, period. Community, number crunching, coordinating, supporting roles with emphasis on synergy, and so much more here. This is turning out exactly as I would have hoped and am looking forward to enjoying ongoing development since this IS the early stages. I am looking for a guild to join in Eternal mode and hope to see more people jump in and check this out.
