Recent verbatim reviews from Steam — separate from playze.io community reviews below.
Players praise the dungeon-running gameplay and cooperative mechanics when playing with friends, with comparisons to WoW's Mythic+ content. However, common complaints center on poor optimization, frustrating solo play design (limited dungeon selection and matchmaking), and divided community expectations about progression speed that the developers struggle to balance, with some suggesting the game needs AI bots to survive its dwindling playerbase.
Community ruins the game. Have fun being a new player and tanking when you're not pulling the entire dungeon.3 found this helpful
Despite not being able to recommend this game, I do believe that this game is great. I'll explain why in a moment why I chose what I chose. At the end of the day play the game and choose for yourself if the game is for you. As far as my experience goes for this type of gameplay loop, I do play WoW at a decently high level as a tank. I have some FFXIV and GW1 and GW 2 exp if those matter. As far as recommending this game, this definitely isn't for anyone who hasn't done research on the game before hand. Before you start playing this game, watch videos on this game. If you play a tank, learn the routes that is most commonly used. From the beginning it seems that other expect you to know this, from the first time that you launch the game. Now mind you this is if you play as a tank, which I do. if you deviate from the "optimal" path too much, people get upset and leave. The First Time User Experience (FTUE) currently is horrible. in my first hour of playing I attempted to do 4 dungeons, 3 of which had leavers. if you pull a pack off the optimal route and you'll get a "what are you doing?!" and a leave. This is at the lowest level of gameplay where it should be new players. Now, fr…
The concept is great honestly. However I would not say this game is for casual gamers. I logged on after a while hoping to continue where I left off with my characters to find all the progression wiped. Which is fine, the seasonal model surprised me but I get it. But I hoped the be able to still use my characters but maybe not be allowed to compete on leaderboards or whatever. I don't have time to grind up new characters every season. It would probably take me over a year to even get through story.
WoW, but for people with a life.
well, it is clearly, 80% based on world of warcraft keystone components! it is the first game that made me give up world of warcraft! I like the dungeons, heroes are more relaxing to play. the big downside is there are less players!
