Jet Lancer is a high-velocity aerial combat shooter where you duel enemy aviators, hunt giant robots, and defy death at supersonic speeds.You are Ash Leguinn: badass pilot, highly paid mercenary, and flight-school drop out. Your day job is fine - the daily grind of dealing with Sky Pirates pays the bills - but nothing compares to the rush of demolishing a ninety-ton mechanical monstrosity at the speed of sound. And you’ll have your chance. As mechanized weapons converge on Root City, you’ll have to be at the top of your game to survive, and you’ll have to surpass your limits if you want to save the world.

Players praise Jet Lancer as a worthy successor to Luftrausers with engaging flying mechanics, challenging score-attack missions that feel rewarding to master, great visuals and soundtrack, and satisfying gameplay that encourages experimentation. The main complaints center on obnoxious dialogue and characters, limited ship customization variety despite weapon options, and occasional difficulty spikes or enemy design issues that can feel unfair rather than fairly challenging.
High action. Very fun. But can be frustratingly difficult on some missions. Well worth the price. 5 Barrel rolls our of 5.
Great game would recommend to others
in a world where decent arcade style air combat games are very few and far between, this one is pretty decent
Great little shmup up but gets really challenging. Takes a little bit to get use to the controls. Story is cheesy but it's the arial combat that is what matters in this game anyways.
Though the story is nothing to write home about and the soundtrack could use some diversity and emotion (other than hype), this game is a gem. It's fun, it's beautiful. edit: I've been enjoying the ost more, especially the tracks like Black Knight and the latter half of the battle music, which is more tragic than pure action.
