The Mind of Marlo is a strange little game, but that is also what makes it interesting. It is a short point-and-click adventure that follows Marlo, a normal guy who suddenly starts going through some very unusual changes. The game presents itself almost like a documentary, which gives it a different style compared to most indie games. The biggest thing this game has going for it is the personality. The humour is weird, but it has a lot of charm. The way the story is told makes the silly situations feel even funnier because everything is treated so seriously. It feels like watching a strange comedy show where nobody questions how ridiculous things are. The writing is probably the main reason to play this game. The gameplay is simple. You explore areas, click on objects, solve small puzzles, and move the story forward. The puzzles are not very difficult, but they fit the type of game it is. They are there to keep you involved rather than being the main challenge. The presentation is also pretty good for a small indie game.
