aMAZE 2

aMAZE 2 is a maze game. And not a walking simulator maze, but a kids' newspaper maze. Most of the classic mini-games from magazines and newspapers got ported to the digital realm. Jigsaws are outright thriving, overshadowing even nonograms, and sell like cakes. Besides the simple lazy ones, there are even some innovative ones, with cool shaped pegs, animated ones, ones with additional mechanics. But this is the first time i see the simple classic mazes game. If you want a mazes game that is completable and tracks achievements, this is one. No frills, all solution methods are viable. You have direct controls, so instead of going from the goal, you literally can wander around pretending to be there. If you have a gamepad plugged in the game will be stuck with it until it is disconnected. The kinaesthetics are wonky and it's not easy to navigate tight turn with the ball that always overshoot. The game is locked yo 16 by 9, so it runs letterboxed on 4 by 3. The graphics are a bit fuzzy. And comparing to the game's old trailer, it seems it was patched quite a bit. There's no music volume controls. And the game is a medium-tier achievement farm, so it will spam you with pop-ups. There…

Amaze 2 is a super chill and satisfying marble maze game with great level design, smooth controls, and relaxing vibes that make it perfect for short relaxing sessions or just zoning out.
