About Sunset Shapes

Sunset Shapes is a puzzle game where you connect broken pieces into a single object to cast a shadow. That shadow will reveal a shape of an object that makes part of a scene displayed in a mural.

Travel alongside with a Daisy and a Maggot through several scenarios and discover to where they are headed to.

In each level, all pieces fall in the play ground.

Then You must move and rotate them, so they fit inside the delimited zone. All levels have different pieces to connect.

Walk along the mural and play 50 hand-crafted levels while listening a relaxing piano music.

sunset shapes is a tetromino-based 3d puzzler inspired by the excellent .projekt, but with pleasant colors of the fall. or the sunset, I guess, but there are multiple trees and such in the game, so it works either way. you get a bunch of tetris-like shapes and have to position them so they reproduce the shadow on the wall (shoutout to mike oldfield) and the floor. first gripe already: I wish there was a 'skip drop animation' setting, waiting for pieces to land, bump around and finally settle is annoying. and they should be more scattered when the level starts, separating everything to see what's what just adds to the busywork, and once they fell in a way that I couldn't separate them, had to restart the level. shapes often get in the way of each other anyway, you often have to make them connect or fill each other's holes (not as dirty as it sounds), but controls are too clunky and frustrating. left click or tab to select a piece, wasd or arrows to move it around horizontally (arrorws aren't mentioned anywhere), e/q to move up/down, 'r' to rotate, holding right click moves the camera and mouse …

Sunset Shapes was a very pleasant surprise for me. It's a puzzle game where You have to connect several pieces (sets of blocks) to form a shape where it's shadow will be casted in a mural. All the shadows uncover a simple story about the travels of a maggot and a daisy. The art it's very simple, but it's also very enjoyable. Specially if You imagine yourself walking alongside a mural in the beach. The game play it's very simple. You only have to move and rotate the pieces around, so their shadow fit the demarked zones. The game progression is ok, but i found some levels a bit difficult. Overall, this game provides a enjoyable and soothing experience while listening a relaxing piano music. Recommended.

Great puzzle game, relaxing soundtrack, totally recommend it! I'm not used to puzzle games but this one really catch my attention. It's different, the environment it's really nice, the story behind it, the music, all of it, nicely done. Loved it and can't wait for the next levels!

Neat idea, but I can not recommend purchase. The camera stops before you can get it into position needed to solve the puzzles. Also, it would be nice to let us know "R" rotates the objects.
