Instead, it refers to the minimalist style, as everything is comprised of geometric shapes. It was a small, simple game I could download quickly, so I thought it'd wind up being something I'd clear before long. However, having gotten about halfway through the content, I have no idea how many more hours I'd have to invest if I earnestly wanted to complete it entirely. [h1]Gameplay[/h1] Theoretically, the game is pretty simple and straightforward. There's 10 worlds, each consisting of 15 levels, and each world ends with a boss battle. You're allowed some leeway, as you don't need to beat every level in order to make progress, which is a nice perk. Veeeery straight-to-the-point tight platformer avoid 'em up game in a minimalist visual style which you can play solo or with up to 4 players. All modes (campaign, survival and versus) are playable alone (versus with bots) or with more players. Jump, air dash, melee attack, levitate, levitate-dash and the hidden secret black belt technique: jump-dash-levitate-dash which makes a double dash possible. The difficulty ramps up from easy to ridiculously hard. Has a daily survival challenge and leaderboards for every survival level. I liked the campaign and survival very much. Versus got somewhat bland pretty fast against others. So I don't recommend it as a couch competitive game, but as a couch co-operative game if you like to tackle the campaign or survival mode as a team which makes the suffering more fun. There is no story, characters, dialogues or anything so for me this is no adventure even though the game presents it as such. It is a fun little arcade game. Very recommended if you like tight platformers! Also recommended as co-operative platformer, but not as a competitive versus game because it's very limited in its possibilities. I played it solo and very much enjoyed it!

God I wish I had reviewed this game back when I played it constantly. It's so so so good. The visuals are so slick and the controls are incredibly crisp. The soundtrack is perfect. I can't tell you how many parties have been dominated by playing this in couch co-op. Sublime underrated gem.

what were the devs thinking with that final boss: - a completely new mechanic which is terrible to control - the final phase is impossible to dodge if you get somewhere near the center of his attack - you need to repeat the "tutorial" of the boss every time you die i've been playing for 7 hours and 3 of those have been spent on the boss it's not fun, it's just frustrating other bosses were annoying to beat but still possible after a maximum of like 50 tries
