1428: Shadows over Silesia

I'll start by saying the game wasn't what I expected. I was hoping for a story set during the Hussite Wars with a plot actually based on those events. Instead, they serve mostly as a backdrop for a story filled with mysticism and a heavy dose of fantasy. The description mentioning fantasy 'elements' is unfortunately misleading, and it needs to be emphasized that this is not a historical game. The story itself isn't particularly gripping, either. It's not bad, just average. However, the gameplay itself is really enjoyable. I think the highly varied game sequences deserve some appreciation. We get typical stealth sections, logic puzzles, and combat. On top of that, there are implemented mechanics like encrypted messages you have to decipher, or a dice game. For an indie game, this looks really good. It's also worth appreciating that many levels can be approached in multiple ways. On the technical side, I didn't experience a single bug, apart from the camera occasionally acting up. Honestly, camera control is probably the weakest element of this whole game. The DLC with its additional story scenario deserves a separate mention. I actually enjoyed this story more than the main plot.…

Rage Refunded, i cannot be arsed with a game with clunky controls when your trying to chase arsonists with an arrow that tells you the direction to go in, which i do, then to get blocked by trees which you cannot see through, then by a feckin log by a house blocked me the 2nd time, All this whilst trying to rotate the camera around so i can see, by the time i could see the timer expired like my patience. So, the game controls are clunky, the camera rotates far to slow, your blocked inconveniently by ♥♥♥♥ you cannot always see, combat is crap, no dodge or riposte, i think i would rather have my money back, thanks.

This is a hidden Indie gem. An atmospheric game which somehow reminded me of the old RuneScape game. Entertaining story with its goofs and subtle easter eggs for Kingdom Come Deliverance and The Witcher. Jokes land right and more seriously takes especially the ending message is delivered well. Puzzles were frustrating at times, but all of them made sense. Even though I had to use a guide to complete it. Graphics are simple, yet effective. Especially in caves and dungeons. At times it's very beautiful even. The only problem is that character faces are not that distinguishable. The environment, maps, and designs were beautiful, too. Map made in the old historically accurate way made my historian heart shiver. All aspects together you can see that devs really loved their project. Music and sound are superb. Kudos to those creating it. Epaxially at the end of credits. Would love to hear both the songs while in the game itself. I would love to see the future in this style. Next part as Epilogue hinted or even MMORPG. Def, recommended at full price.

I tried...the setting and story are interesting, but I can't....the escape with the horse level just killed it completely....Controls are very bad.

I'm glad I played and completed this game. Both characters were perfect and after some time I really liked them. Story started during Hussite wars and settings into this age is really interesting (if there will be less demons and undeads it will be better). I had only two problems - one was with settings (dont play it on X-box controller - play it with mouse and keyboard) and second was with last chapter - too much fights... Except these two problems Game was really nice and hat down before the designer Petr Kubíček and his wife (for the story). Thank you for this game. DLC: +nice kind of humor +characters + bard competition - bow competititon =still nice DLC and extra thanks for few jokes ... "ona mela hezky kozy a ty jsi mel zrovna prazdny chlivek..."

Кусок говна с кривой боёвкой. Не покупайте. Персонаж размахивается оружием по полгода и за это время враг делает тычку и сбрасывает анимацию, стамины хватает на 2-3 удара, словно у нас не меч в руках, а лом. А ещё врагом всегда больше, толпа селюков с палками пиздят рыцаря как ♥♥♥♥♥ делать. И ладно бы боёвка была глубокой и комплексной, но кроме блока и атаки ♥♥♥♥♥ нет! Диалоги на время - ♥♥♥♥♥? Зачем? Чтобы что? Инвентарь - неудобное говно, ♥♥♥♥ того в рот. Карта мира - показывает целое ♥♥♥♥♥. Жаль не могу сделать рефанд.
