About Milano's Odd Job Collection

✦ AI summary

Milano's Odd Job Collection is a charming pixel-art life sim where you help 11-year-old Milano spend her summer working quirky part-time jobs—from delivering pizzas to milking flying cows—to earn money and fix up her uncle's house. This previously Japan-exclusive classic blends nostalgic mini-games with cozy home decoration and character development, now featuring full English localization and modern quality-of-life features for a fresh take on a beloved retro adventure.

School’s out, but 11-year-old Milano’s mom needs to go to the hospital and Milano is sent to spend the summer with her uncle. There’s one small problem – her uncle is away on vacation! Left on her own, Milano decides to make the most of her situation by taking up a variety of part-time jobs in town. Over the next 40 days, Milano goes all in – delivering pizzas, nursing sick patients, milking flying cows, and more – to make this summer unforgettable. And maybe she can spruce up her uncle’s place and have some fun while she’s at it.Previously only available in Japan, this charming classic delivers cute Japanese nostalgia to worldwide audiences for the first time!

Milano Meets the World

Full English text and voiceovers bring Milano’s pixel-art adventures to a whole new audience. Fans can rest assured that the original Japanese is also available, complete with all-new English subtitles.

Make Your Home Away from Home

Rest and relaxation are important for work-life balance. Milano can style the house with new furniture and decor instead of going into work, and at night she can enjoy quiet time inside with her uncle’s cat, stargazing from her bedroom, and making use of items purchased with her hard-earned wages.

It’s Not Work if You Love to Do It

Help Milano earn money in eight unique mini games, including curing diseases as a nurse, catching falling fruits in an orchard, and more. Enrich Milano’s skill, mood, and energy in the evenings to unlock more odd jobs and higher difficulty levels. The tougher the challenge, the bigger the payday!

Nostalgic Gameplay, Modern Conveniences

The charm and gameplay of the original release are intact, but improved load times, save states, and a rewind feature help update this classic title for modern audiences.

Cute game about being super employed and multi-talented that will make you feel like you time traveled.

A mixed/positive review It's a good game and I'm so for bringing old games to steam or in general ports That being said this game's 15$ and 10 on sale for content that's just too little. Even if I use the logic for 1 hour = 1$ I still managed to 100% it in 7 hours or so. It's good and I like it it's charming and awesome and dope but just keep this pricing in mind. The port also requires a controller and has no keyboard support so it's just a mixed bag on how they went about the pricing but maybe it was hard enough on them to bring this game to be able to be played so I don't know. 7/10 game , idk/10 port.

It is a well done port of the game which itself is a small pleasure to play. One would hope that the arcade mode would have been unlocked from the start.

I love that an obscure game like this can still get an official release decades later. Got recommended it randomly and very glad I picked it up. Very cute and nostalgic.

Game unplayable. The sound is broken and it seems to want to do nothing but glitch out. It doesn't make sense as my laptop plays normal games without issue?

Even if is kinda simple, it was a great charming experience playing this obscure PS1 game. It feels great seeing that gems that never got localizated on their time, finally getting a second realize a bit more worldwide. Just imagining the number of old and not-so-old titles that could benefit from a translation and release on modern devices makes me happy. Bonito juego
