[b]cubeka[/b] is a unique take on pen & paper word games and offers challenge after challenge. the 2.5-minute video on the store page describes how it works and there's an in-game tutorial as well, but I'll try to explain it briefly. it's easier to understand if you look at a few screenshots first, and I inserted a few of my own down below to illustrate a few things. [b]almost the entire screen can be drawn on[/b], they're not kidding with the pen & paper thing. on the right is the complete english alphabet, all capitals, drawn on graph paper, each letter on a 11x6 grid. on the left is the word to figure out, one per level, and above it are the clues. [b]each row represents a letter and you have to look at the lines between them to see if certain parts from a certain viewpoint (left, top, right, bottom) overlap or not.[/b] for example, if the first letter is P and the left clue between letters 1 and 2 is empty, it means these two letters completely match from the left, so you can draw that on the second grid and immediately discard letters like C, Q, V, etc. because their left side is not a completely straight vertical line, like in letter P. next, look at the top. let's say it …

Took me a while to get into this but I am really starting to like it. For me at least it gets confusing with how the clues are done at times but it's getting easier. A very original puzzle and definitely worth it if you like harder puzzles that are a bit different. Now I have mostly finished it I will give a final view. The game is for me pretty easy for easy/intermediate once I got used to it and hard only gets hard in the second half. But it gets very hard and for a few I used a crossword solver to assist since my brain was melting enough from just the puzzle part. It requires very good word skills by then since there are so few clues. But the game for me is very worth it and a good combination of a word and logic challenge. Both skills will be tested to the max by the end. Impossible now works correctly. It is beyond my skills though and even getting there was too hard for 1 or 2 levels where I used the crossword solver to assist a tiny amount.

An innovative puzzle game with a completely new concept. Definitely entertaining and gets difficult enough to stay interesting even after hours of play.

It's a logic/word mix of picross and wheel of fortune. The entire game is one level at a time of a word you have to deduce from the XOR projections of the letter shapes for each sequential pair of letters in the answer, gradually giving less clues and longer word lengths. I had plenty of fun and almost no frustration because I made heavy use of a fill-in-the-blank word solver, so almost all of my time was spent breaking in to the first or second steps of the puzzle.
