About Live checkpoint
The game is a 2D platformer with a side view of the game. The main task of the game is to protect the checkpoint from bloodthirsty zombies and prevent them from breaking inside, because there are people in the building, and the walking dead are eager to taste their brains. Destroying the wave of enemies after the wave, we collect the fallen coins, on which we can buy improved weapons and supplies for them, as well as we can upgrade the structure.
Game Features:
- 4 types of weapons

What Steam players say
Recent verbatim reviews from Steam — separate from playze.io community reviews below.
Live Checkpoint offers a wave survival shooter concept with some appreciated musical elements, but players criticize the lazy pixel art aesthetic, repetitive and slow-paced gameplay that takes too long to unlock meaningful progression, and inflexible technical settings with fixed resolution and controls that feel below standard for PC games. The core survival mechanics fail to engage despite the nostalgic retro premise, leaving most players disappointed with the overall experience.
Live Checkpoint is a 2D side scrolling retro pixel wave survival shooter. Protect the little hut in the middle of the screen as baddies trickle in from the left and right. They drop coins which you can use to buy health restore, ammo, and weapon upgrades. The game works okay in fullscreen and with mouse and keyboard controls. Retro pixel graphics are lazy and make the game look bad. The game might be worth something if they had hired an artist. Resolution and controls are fixed and can't be changed, which makes the game fall below minimum standards for PC.3 found this helpful
The music is nice. Gameplay is dull and uninspired, and it simply takes far too long to earn enough cash to start unlocking new weapons.1 found this helpful
