Wow actually a very good game. I really can't agree with most of the negative reviews left on here but some are indeed very harsh or outright just stupid... Game runs fairly smooth for me. A very realistic forest probably the most realistic i've seen from an indie game... A very nice cinematic game with a lot of potential in my opinion coming from the creator who i think made this game solo. The only thing i'd change is the voice acting but i guess it's expensive to hire pro voice actors. Looking forward to more games from this creator!

ItLivesInTheWoods is the quintessential horror experience. The game respects my intelligence and it's a small yet meaningful story. There is so much heart put into the gameplay and at just under 2 hours, it's an easy in and easy out adventure. I found myself intrigued and mortified at every turn and couldn't wait to see where the game took me. The game is definitely SHOW not TELL. crafted masterfully. IF YOU LOVE HORROR AND MYSTERY- WOULD RECOMMEND.

This game keeps you glued to the screen. This is what matters most and as a first outing from a solo developer is really promising !

This game had potential, but the mechanics were a little wonky. Once I got to the house and woke up, I could not find the next task to do. I searched everything for about 20 minutes until I just gave up. I suggest adding instructions or notes to help. I also think the voice for the person looking for his daughter did not match at all. He was very mute and not upset. The volume for the game was quiet as well.

What on earth is this? Thanks to UE5, here’s yet another title I’d classify as “junk.” It’s not even worth this low price. The beginning is promising, with the forest looking great and creating a fantastic atmosphere. But what immediately stands out as a negative right from the start is the voice acting. What happened to the voice actors? The father sounds like he’s taken too many sleeping pills. Completely sleepy, boring, and emotionless. It completely ruins the atmosphere and makes the game seem cheap right away and not exciting in the slightest. The voice acting for the creature you encounter at the end is also completely botched. Just a faint breath and a whisper. Is that supposed to be scary? The flashlight and lighter (I have no idea why you have both) do have a durability meter in the inventory, but it's impossible to deplete it in any way. It was probably included to give the impression that these items have limited usability, but in reality, the meters could have just been left out. In the second half, the forest doesn’t play a major role anymore, and the atmosphere is gone. The jump scares are cheap and don’t scare you, and you don’t really get scared in general eith…
