I love it! I still don't fully understand what I'm doing.

Great game - good fun. Certainly worth playing, especially if you are not into these sorts of games. I say that because this game is more fun for me to play as I am not into the technical areas of shooting games. Yes, this game has that... but it's fun for people who just want to play and enjoy without getting caught up in scores.

Pretty damn fun. It is a very non-traditional shmup with a focus on scoring. Definitely not for everyone nor every shmup fan; but that's part of what makes it so enjoyable for those that 'get it'. Took a few runs for it to sink its claws into me, so if you do try it I recommend keeping an eye on the refund timer and giving it a proper, PROPER go.

by far the best of the rs34 games on steam to date imo, combining skill-based metaprogression and branching structure with unusual twin-stick controls and some aspects of more traditional shmups. the early phase of unlocks and learning curve may come off as a bit slow, especially for players with a lot of past experience in the genre, but the challenging parts of the game have some real teeth. totally worth it for the unique experience, gonzo visual style, and bumping soundtrack

this game makes you think differently about the shmups (and it was by no means impenetrable for me, like hellsinker was)

this for years has been my favourite game i could never recommend to anyone in good faith given previously it was only playable in the west via importing a physical copy of the game & playing in Japanese. i am a huge fangirl for RS34's schmups, but Illvelo Swamp is the one i play most often. everything about this game is so extremely swagged out: the OST is great, the art direction is peak denpa & the orders system creates such a compelling progression for a schmup. as with the other RS34 games, playing aggressively & fast is rewarded, the doll abilities & megalophaz are extremely satisfying to chain. hoping to see the other games get the same pc port & localisation !
