Mid game. Nothing great about it. The only saving thing is that the story is unique enough to be slightly interesting. However it's still not enough to merit a thumbs up.2 found this helpful
Amazing game with an eerie and unsettling atmosphere, and it's unlike any other AVN I've played so far. I also like the music in it. However, the developer shouldn't have given the MC a default girlfriend from the start. She feels like a third wheel there and detracts from a side romance that the player pursues. It should be up to the player to choose a love interest for himself - the one he likes and decides to choose, not the one that the developer forces on him without a choice. Another gripe I have is the AI animations. I don't think they belong in a visual novel or that the genre benefits from them. [b]Note:[/b] this Ren'Py game does run on Linux natively, but its launcher has to be executed manually from the folder rather than the Steam app. If you want to launch it in the Steam app, you must go to Cursed Affection's properties and set the launch option: [i]"/path-to-game-folder/lib/py3-linux-x86_64/CursedAffection" # %command%[/i]
What a wild ride of a very good story with great world building and character development. Story: 10/10 Only negative is the Animations. Some are heavily AI generated as evident by really bad rigging but with high quality and quantity of frames. Some of the AI gen sex animation rigging are janky as hell, some even breaking the MC's penis or just comically bad .... so Animations 3/10. Overall: 7/10
I'm not really a super natural kind of person, but i enjoyed this game. I also enjoyed the things that AI brought to the visuals in the animation.
Great game, recommended.
One of the best I've played so far. Good story, good length, and already finished.
