Cursed Affection

Mid game. Nothing great about it. The only saving thing is that the story is unique enough to be slightly interesting. However it's still not enough to merit a thumbs up.

That was awful. The art, the story, the sex scenes, just terrible. The sex scenes made no sense, half the time your pregnant wife is in the next room. The story had no cohesive story. It was like it took 10 years to write it, and the writer never went back to read what was written, and they kept forgetting what the story was about. The way they walk just irritated me. No one in this world steps forward, unless they're running. Front leg vertical, back leg in some kind of gay casual position. Like the dev has never seen a person walk. Then the same situations repeated over and over "hey, mister super generic american cowboy, dressed like a calvin klein model from the 90's, you wait here for the exact same reason 45 times, and dont forget to argue about it every time. I'll go do something stupid, and everyone should forget about danger, while i bang some chick i just met". Let's not forget about the terrifying creatures that you never see. Then "oh ♥♥♥♥! were stuck in a time loop that we'll never get out of" but you do with no real explanation. my hand is exhausted from fast clicking my way through the worst script ever.

Amazing game with an eerie and unsettling atmosphere, and it's unlike any other AVN I've played so far. I also like the music in it. However, the developer shouldn't have given the MC a default girlfriend from the start. She feels like a third wheel there and detracts from a side romance that the player pursues. It should be up to the player to choose a love interest for himself - the one he likes and decides to choose, not the one that the developer forces on him without a choice. Another gripe I have is the AI animations. I don't think they belong in a visual novel or that the genre benefits from them. What a wild ride of a very good story with great world building and character development. Story: 10/10 Only negative is the Animations. Some are heavily AI generated as evident by really bad rigging but with high quality and quantity of frames. Some of the AI gen sex animation rigging are janky as hell, some even breaking the MC's penis or just comically bad .... so Animations 3/10. Overall: 7/10

I'm not really a super natural kind of person, but i enjoyed this game. I also enjoyed the things that AI brought to the visuals in the animation.
