3/5 This only barely earned a thumbs up. It is pretty, and the main character is engaging. I would have loved her streets clothes but topless - no luck with that so far. The problem is the basic game circulation; it remains the same with variations throught the game. I have not finished it yet so this may improve.

The Curse of Kubel is an absolute gem. From the moment I started playing, I was captivated by the protagonist’s expressive journey, her emotional evolution is portrayed with such nuance that every moment feels earned. The slow corruption arc is masterfully paced, seductive in its subtlety, and spot on in execution. It’s rare to see a game balance narrative tension and character depth so well. Huge kudos to the localization team! Their work brings the story to life with clarity and charm, preserving the original tone while making it resonate beautifully in English. You’ve made a fun, immersive experience even more enjoyable, and I’m genuinely excited for what’s to come. Magetano’s design is especially pretty, elegant and evocative, it adds a distinct visual flair to the game. And the DLC? A must-have. The addition of voice acting spices things up even further, deepening the emotional impact and making the experience feel more alive. Thank you for delivering such a memorable game. I’ll be cheering for future releases!

I initially enjoyed this until a syntax error caused me to waste an hour of progress and killed all desire to see even one ending. This is definitely one I hate the gameplay of but the corruption and the sexiness of Magetano was enough for me to tolerate the gameplay. I wanted to go for the good ending first, but I don't have the patience to plan out and save scum for that ending. The world building was actually pretty enjoyable as well as there aren't many h-games I've played that put a bit of effort into making an interesting world around it. If you want a pure virgin route that doesn't exist. If you're someone that needs animated cgs I'm sorry mate this ain't your game. If you're someone that enjoys corruption games and are looking for something new save your money and time as you won't really get that here outside of the initial setup. You can get a syntax error during the sessions with Bazria that happen between the titled scenes. Which if you don't save regularly like I do can result in a lot of lost time. I vaguely remember in the Steam Forums someone mentioning that error doesn't not consistently repeat, but as far as I'm concerned the way I play I'll just waste another h…
