I literally only read this VN cuz I thought Chikage being an insane pervert would be funny. She... kinda was at times? Sadly, outside the initial premise of the MC's "Fetish Diary" most of the characters weren't that funny? It felt like most of the jokes and situations were half-assed attempts at best to copy Nukitashi-style jokes where everyone are some degree of perverted. Chikage was the only one I found funny cuz she was just so much more over the top than the others, but even she wasn't consistent. When she rants about all the random stuff that turns her on, the jokes can be amusing. But once her route gets kinda sorta serious for a nukige... the plot and character development was as shallow and rushed as expected. I'd get into the H-scenes since this is a nukige and all but from what I skimmed just seemed like typical vanilla stuff, didn't seem to have funny jokes so I skipped most of them. There's not much else to say, this was just disappointing for what I wanted. I've read nukige that generally entertained me, like Ultimate Boob Wars that delivered on its silly premise with quick goofy character interactions, and Succubus Sessions Mami Mamiya cuz of its relatively se…1 found this helpful

Real Anime Situation! 2 is a romance-focused visual novel developed and published by Jitaku Studio that embraces the fantasy of living through the kinds of relationship-driven scenarios commonly found in anime and dating simulations. Built around a cast of charming heroines and a protagonist who unexpectedly finds himself at the center of multiple romantic possibilities, the game delivers a lighthearted narrative that prioritizes character interaction, emotional development, and relationship building over traditional gameplay mechanics. It is a title that understands exactly what its audience is looking for and focuses on providing a comfortable and engaging romantic experience from beginning to end. The story revolves around a young protagonist whose everyday life gradually becomes more complicated as he develops connections with several distinct heroines. What initially appears to be a familiar romantic setup soon expands into a collection of character-driven stories that explore attraction, friendship, misunderstandings, and personal growth. The narrative leans heavily into the appeal of anime-inspired romance while providing enough variety among its cast members to keep the ex…
Decent game and I liked the love interests. Pretty must everyone in this game is a massive pervert and not afraid to show it hehe. The 'drama' was a little forced and felt like it was only there to stretch the length of the routes. Before and after you pick your route there's plenty of spicy scenes. Well as long as you install the patch that is.
I can't stomach another minute of this game. The waifus are nice, the situations are fun, the art is nice and so is the music.. but I just can't keep going. The writing is just so.. boring? A drag? Reading this just feels off. Which is crazy, since I like the concept, in theory. I don't hate the MC either, but everything just feels off. I would say it is the pacing and the general writing style. I can't quite put my finger, on what exactly is so off putting for me in this game. It just feels so.. "Meh". I prefered HoneyHoneyHoney! which is a similar title, although tones the nukige aspects way down.
