An Island Full of Secrets

A global pandemic has shaken humanity. On this remote island once stood a secret research facility that was meant to develop a cure, but something went terribly wrong.During the global chaos, an evacuation flight was launched, but navigation data became unreliable, communication systems failed, and fuel supplies ran low.
The aircraft lost control and crashed near an unknown island, by chance... or perhaps not?You survive the crash and find yourself alone in what appears to be a peaceful yet abandoned world. As you explore the island, you discover voice recordings from a woman named Jill, who was here before you. She speaks of strange events, experiments conducted within the research facility, and something hidden deep beneath the surface.Inside the facility, you uncover traces of those experiments... remnants of something that was once human, but is no longer entirely human.
The research created something that should never have existed.Jill's final message ends with a warning:"I can no longer receive signals from anywhere in the world - except for one final, weak radio transmission from New York. Stay on the island... this may be the last safe place left."The island reveals only part of the truth. The deeper you venture, the greater the mystery of the world becomes.

✦ AI summary

Players are divided on KeepUp Survival, with some praising its relaxing exploration, building mechanics, and peaceful sandbox approach as a refreshing take on survival games. However, critics point to numerous technical issues including janky combat, broken UI elements like the GPS device, game-breaking glitches, unintuitive controls, and an overall sense of emptiness and lack of direction that makes the experience feel unpolished and frustrating compared to better-developed survival titles.

This game is garbage. I have played a ton of survival games and this one is hands down the worst I've played in a long time. Melee combat is janky. The GPS handheld that you build requires you to go into first person to use it but won't LET you go into first person. When I started a new playthrough I had to reboot the game because of a "known" glitch that does not allow you to pick up anything. I hopped on a boat with a guy sitting on it (no instruction or explanation to it's purpose) and proceeded to be taken (slowly at first) for a ride. The speed than cranked up to mach jesus and could not figure out how to get off. Made it to a dock where it promptly zipped by it so fast that I could barely see it. There are other way better games that have had less development time that are worth your money.

The world is very empty, didnt even get to base building, no enemies to shoot at no zombies or bandit or whatever this game is suppose to be, you only hunt animal i think, clunky running, youre character runs like it has ♥♥♥♥ on its pant, you dont know where to go, created that tablet that is suppose to make go in fps, it didnt work for me. How can you unfold your own story if there is no lore! wish i have tried it before so i can refund this game early. WHAT A WASTE OF MONEY!!!!

KeepUp Survival is an open-world crafting and survival game that focuses heavily on exploration, construction, and personal freedom inside a large abandoned island environment. Developed and published by Witte Studio, the game takes a slower and more relaxed approach to survival compared to many modern entries in the genre. Instead of overwhelming players with nonstop combat or highly punishing mechanics, KeepUp Survival encourages gradual progression through gathering resources, building shelters, exploring wilderness areas, and shaping the world at an individual pace. The result is a sandbox survival experience that often feels more peaceful and immersive than intensely competitive or action-focused. The game takes place on a mysterious island filled with forests, mountains, abandoned structures, hidden caves, and scattered traces of previous civilization. Players begin with very little and must slowly learn how to survive by collecting resources, crafting tools, and building shelter while exploring the dangerous environment around them. The world itself becomes one of the game’s strongest elements because it constantly rewards curiosity. Hidden locations, ruined buildings, and …

Still needs a lot of work but still a fun game in it's current state at the time of this writing. I tried the game free from the Epic Store giveaway and liked it enough to buy the deluxe version (all maps) in Steam. Really looking forward to future development.

Its not the worst you can build ride on boats and fight. However the fighting is really jank. I hopped on a few invisible boats that took me in circles slow or fast depending on who was there driving. guns seem a little too easy to make when a crossbow is strong enough to one hit kill most things. Tree flung me after hitting it into the middle of the ocean. gps is really bad hard for most ppl to use im always the cartographer so got us to where we wanted. on coop the other played kept leaving their weapons flying with arms breaking. like most games the hunger/thirst system is way too fast. creatures like crabs chickens boars all of them would randomly glitch in and out of existance. oh i dont know how to chance my gender in the game we are female lol. TLDR- Good Building janky tools/jumping Hunger isnt the worst but hardly any games get it right.. Bad Coop stayed connected but lots of glitches happy it works to waste me and my friends time i like testing out games with friends. Edit: Dev responded wasnt sure how much its being worked on making me a lot happier however for fighting thats fair the biggest issue i had with the tools was not hitting stuff like creatures for food, unt…
