If you like walking slowly soul-crushingly long distances, tedious restrictions on how you can farm, and no tutorial. I still dont know where all my coins go, seeing as I've never bought a thing.

Doesn't quite hit the mark. The promise of a Harvest Moon/Stardew experience was dashed fairly quickly. Right off the bat, the map is overcrowded with obstacles to be cleared, which would be fun enough, however your character is not attached to the grid system everything else is on. So after selecting the correct tool, you have to make a guess on if you are the right distance to clear the crop/grass/rock/log in the selected square. You also don't appear to be able clear anything that is on a square above you, only left, right or down. There is only one person you can talk to from the start of the game and he gives you a quest to go into the caves to collect ingredients for a potion, which appears to be necessary to talk to the people in town. As in, you can not go into town until you make the potion. I did not get to that point though as the combat system is clunky and intuitive. Don't worry though, there is no health in the game, so you can't be killed as the monsters move back and forth in front of and through you as you try to figure out how the fire ball spell works. With a little more love, this could have been a nice game, especially for its price point, however the last …

Valley Of The Moon is an ambitious but noticeably modest fantasy adventure that tries to combine the relaxing routine of farming with resource management, magic, quests, and dungeon exploration. Developed by IgramTeam and published by Conglomerate 5, it places players in control of Athorias, a farmer who also happens to be a wizard. Instead of portraying the hero as a traditional warrior wandering from battle to battle, the game gives him a more practical purpose: helping the merchants of a struggling village, dealing with local problems, and gradually earning the trust of the people living there. It is an unusual mixture that gives the game some personality despite its limited production values. Much of the experience revolves around simple everyday activities. Players can cultivate crops, purchase seeds, collect stones and firewood, chop trees, fish, sleep, create stamina potions, and sell gathered materials. These mechanics establish a basic economic cycle where exploration and manual work provide resources that can then support further progress.
