You are a king. A king's abilities translate to a kingdom's efficiency in all areas from trade to war. As you guide your kingdom, both you and your kingdom will grow into greatness and splendor... Or fall into failure and ashes.
Hold court, and see your petitioners. Your advisors will come to you needing problems solved. They represent your people, and you must answer correctly. With over 10,000 lines of dialogue, you have quite a few decisions to make.
Send emissaries to other kingdoms to establish trade routes. Build relationships and grow close with other kingdoms. Improve trade relations for improved profits. Trade for valuable materials to speed up the construction of your kingdom.
"I'm not a witch! I'm your wife!" Six eligible ladies just looking for a worthy suitor. Each has their own personality and desires. Some are built to be a queen, while others fell into it. Either way, each marriage has their own unique benefits depending on your overall strategy. There can only be one queen. Choose wisely, and win her heart.
Start with nothing. As the youngest prince, you barely paid attention to your studies. Your wise men, however, can research over 120 technologies to help build your kingdom and improve your troops, spies, and kingly abilities. With four tech trees to choose from and the manpower it takes to research, you must pick what is most important.
Start with an empty plot of land, and establish your capital. Upgrade your city over time, and grow it into the grandest in the world. A prosperous city is needed to conquer the world.
As king, you can take part in tournaments and win prizes to impress the ladies. Going to war? Establish a battle strategy. Want to break down another kingdom's military power? Send in your spies, and crush them from within. Weaken them, and break them down.
Manage your resources, population, and manpower. Want to go to war and need troops? Recruiting troops comes straight from your population. Population is needed for taxes. Want to trade, research, build, or train? You only have so much manpower! What takes priority is up to you.
Want to conquer the world with a trail of blood rather than through diplomatic means? Then troops matter. Craft weapons, recruit troops, and pick the right combination. I was provided a free key to test out the game and provide feedback. I was happy to do so, as I enjoy helping the indie community and have done so on other titles such as 'Green with Energy' and 'Simpocalypse'. I was looking forward to a turn-based strategy game as I've played a lot of them in the past, such as Colonization, Civilization, Deadlock, and others. The unfortunate thing was that there was 'wonderful new tools and UI bits' such as the manpower bar that I was told would make for enjoyable game play, but it wasn't even working. Other elements weren't working either and when I tried to contact the devs to help them with troubleshooting, I found that the Discord link on their website was invalid. Finally finding a link for their Discord, I was told 'yeah, we know' for the issues that I was happy to troubleshoot and work on with the team. Sorry, but the game has bugs and whomever was answering messages in the Discord gave me bad vibes. I can't recommend this game without some significant improvements to the UI and maybe some explanations as to 'why' things are happening in the game.3 found this helpful
First off, I really like this game. It can be made as easy or as hard as you like. I like the story and the RPG elements. For some reason, after 17 hours into the game, my saved games would not load and nothing would work. I tried reinstalling, but that didn't help. Now, I just turn it on once in a while, hoping that the game will work again. So in my experience, the game is a little quirky at best, but I still like the game a lot.2 found this helpful
This will be a bit lengthy review and also plz forgive for my english . Have you ever played Travian, Ikariam , Tribal wars ( and the list goes on) or any other strategy mmo and then quitted because you couldnt spend all day And night in front of the pc or tablet that these games require you to do so? Hav you ever wished for a solo game like these? Where you can relax , make your plans and see your city grow and when you have to stop playing you just save the game and go on the next time you have free time and want to play! Well this is the game i have been waiting for so long! And so many others asking for a solo game similar to the online strategy mmos! Info about the game : you start from scratch and try to build a kingdom , well its capital and each day you have 3 actions to do ( for example build , research technology and send en emissary) , - there are more options ofcource like craft weapons , raise your lords stats that help not only you (it has tpg elements) but your troops and your city too , court a lady , subterfuge another kingdom and more. You choose 3 actions and then you end your turn . Along the way with diplomacy you can unlock more actions per day. Thins are …2 found this helpful
Trash game now, developer said they will support game and update game with new contents and bug fixes, they just lied and abandoned this game.1 found this helpful
When starting a new game, it forced you to manually click through a multi-minute comic strip telling the lore of the game. It locks the entire game. You can't skip it, you can't return to the menu, and you can just walk away a leave it to play, because you have to manually click EVERY SINGLE FRAME. And since the game default to full screen mode, and doesn't warn you about this, it effectively locks your computer, and holds it hostage for your to read through this stupid ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ comic strip. Nothing of the game matters to me at that point. ♥♥♥♥ this game.
It's a ♥♥♥♥ game with a lot of bugs don't buy it
