About Cellular Harvest

At the edge of explored space, your camera will decide the fate of a world.

Cellular Harvest is a shortform first-person photography exploration game. You are an Auditor. An AI embedded in your suit evaluates the value of every being you encounter for the corporate interests that direct humanity's journey into a wider universe.

Track alien creatures. Catalog their existence with your camera. Follow orders. And enjoy an alien planet - while it's still intact.

This package contains both Cellular Harvest GREEN and Cellular Harvest PURPLE as a single game. You can select your edition from the main menu.

very weird and good if you like exploration. It has some Pokemon-Snap-like qualities and some of the trademark weird writings of Strange Scaffold if you enjoy those games.

Moderately thought provoking, kinda meh overall but short and cheap enough.

More photography games please! Cellular Harvest is a cataloging game where the player wanders around a colorful planet and takes pictures of little alien freaks. It's a virtual trip to the zoo with small glimmers of threat between the exhibits, and I had a great time feeling both that joy and that weight.

Worth your time and effort. Not long but it's great, really recommend.

A short and sweet little project. I love the music and atmosphere, the option between Day (Green) and Night (Purple) is very nice and allows you to pick your mood. Well worth $7 in my opinion. Don't rush through trying to "complete" the game, take it slow and listen to the creatures and take in the mood of this distant land.

It's good, but I feel like it could be doing a lot more. The map is quite linear, and most of the creatures are out in the open rather than hidden away waiting to be found. Each creature is required to be photographed at least four times in order to be fully documented, but often times, there are five or six of these creatures to be found throughout the course of your journey. This makes the game extremely short and not much of a challenge overall. There are no extra mechanics outside of the movement/camera, no puzzles, no hazards, and nothing that really makes it stand out from a gameplay perspective. I think it's a very strong concept for a game, but one which needs to be pushed further to become truly worthwhile. Pick it up on sale.
