About Elena's Journal: To Atlantis

Elena and Nathan had barely returned from their exhilarating adventure in the City of Amazons when they decided to embark on another journey. This time, they were on a mission to find Atlantis, the lost city that had intrigued and fascinated Nathan for as long as he could remember.

As they set out on their journey, they faced a new set of challenges that tested their courage and determination. Nathan's lifelong dream of discovering the lost city drove them forward, but the journey was far from easy.

Elena, on the other hand, struggled with her own personal demons. The pressures of academia weighed heavily on her, as did the drama within her family. Moreover, conflicts with Nathan only added to her stress, making it difficult for her to remain focused on their mission.

The two found temporary relief in the form of visits from friends, but their happiness was short-lived as they soon realized that an enemy lurked in the shadows, craving revenge. The tension continued to rise as they encountered new obstacles and dangers, putting their work, passion, and very lives in jeopardy.

Despite the challenges they faced, Elena and Nathan remained determined to find Atlantis and unlock its secrets. They knew that they needed to stay strong, focused, and united if they hoped to survive the challenges ahead.

As they continued on their journey, they uncovered clues and made significant progress. But the closer they got to their goal, the higher the stakes became. The sacrifices they would have to make only grew larger and more difficult.

In the end, Elena and Nathan would have to make some tough choices. They would need to decide what was most important to them, and what they were willing to risk to achieve their dreams. But no matter what, they knew that they would have each other to rely on as they faced whatever lay ahead.

Elena's Journal: To Atlantis is the second installment of the eponymous series and continues the adventures of Elena and her team of archeologists. While in the first game, Elena managed not only to uncover the City of the Amazons through a successful expedition but also to find love on the way, the second game will have her embark on a mission to find the legendary city of Atlantis, while also trying to overcome the personal struggles caused by her relationship breaking apart. The games can be played independently of each other, but it's highly advisable to play Unfinished Expedition before To Atlantis because the story in the second game reveals many essential aspects of the plot of the first game. The gameplay is pretty much the same as in any other GameHouse game. As Elena or one of her friends, you will help their university students or fellow archeologists by fulfilling their requests, combining various ingredients into new items or handing over the objects they need, and then finally billing them at the checkout. As you progress throughout the game, the complexity of available items and combinations increases substantially and the number of people you…

Elena's Journal: To Atlantis is a time management game developed by SQRT3 and published by GameHouse. It is the sequel to the first game, Elena's Journal: Unfinished Expedition. Although it isn't necessary to have played the first game before delving into this one, there are references to the first game in regards to story lore and so forth. Anyway, the story starts off as follows. Elena and Nathan are back in the university, and Nathan has been researching Atlantis, hoping to get the funds to find the lost city. However, his research has been putting a heavy strain on his and Elena's relationship. (Spoiler alert: If you know what happens at the very end of the previous installment, it explains Nathan's behavior. I had forgotten about this tidbit until there was a bit of narrative, referencing what happened to Nathan. lol) Although Elena does her best to support him and wants to find Atlantis, too, as her dad had been researching about it before he ended up going to the City of the Amazons (the main focus of the first game),
she gets fed up with Nathan's obsessive, aggressive behavior and decides to end things with him
. Meanwhile, Alex and …

So the journey of Elena continued and it didn't disappoint at all, the follow up was really great and the new adventure of discovering Atlantis was fun as well. I loved the whole look of Atlantis and how Elena got to experience another amazing city with her visions, I enjoyed collecting everything to complete the museum and the achievements are pretty easy to obtain on hard mode. The story is great and I really like how everything is linked with the previous game, it's nice to have met Elena's adoption mom and how all the pieces fit together. I enjoyed having to experience the archaeology part with all the mini games in some of the levels and the whole adventure to get everything they need in the expedition. I am excited to see what the next adventure has in store for Elena and the cute gecko Zeno!!

Starting on level 21, this game became unplayable for me (I'm on a Mac) because the screen is zoomed in too far and items that I need to click near the bottom of the screen are totally blocked by the HUD/tray. When I contacted GameHouse they said this is a known issue and they don't have a fix. This happens late enough in the game that Steam probably won't give you a refund, so be aware that you could be paying full price for 1/3 of a game. (I've experienced the zoom issue with other GameHouse games but the games were still playable even though the buggy levels were annoying to complete. This game was the first one that was zoomed in so bad that items were completely unclickable, making it impossible to play past level 21.) Hope this helps other players avoid the frustration I went through with this game!

Nice game. I like the art. I like the interface. You can choose easy, medium, or difficult. Similar to the Emily games, you serve customers, accomplish small tasks and click once per episode to find the animal: In this case a salamander (I think??) I like that the game clicks well. By that I mean, you can actually rack up tasks ahead of time. That really saves a lot of time. In a similar game I tried recently, each time you clicked something else, the action would stop and the avatar would go do that instead. Frustrating, and confusing. Being able to rack up tasks to do, allows other tasks to be clicked on at the same time. So you can fill a teacup or plan the next moments ahead and use strategy that way. The clicks also operate well in that you typically do not need to click multiple times before the avatar does the task. In a similar game, you'd (sometimes) click and click and it didn't work. You'd move on, thinking it was working, when it wasn't, which ruined any planned strategies, and cost time. The game had sixty levels. You can also use "diamonds" you've earned, to 'buy' things to decorate a room in a museum. Overall a very fun game. If you like time management games,…
