About Hagia Sophia VR Experience
This Experience allows you to navigate through Hagia Sophia, and by holding Historical Objects, it allows you to listen to Mosaic, History and Quran.
After the Fall of Constantinople to the Ottoman Empire in 1453, it was converted to a mosque by Mehmed the Conqueror. The patriarchate moved to the Church of the Holy Apostles, which became the city's cathedral. Although some parts of the city had fallen into disrepair, the cathedral had been maintained with funds set aside for this purpose, and the Christian cathedral made a strong impression on the new Ottoman rulers who conceived its conversion. The bells, altar, iconostasis, ambo and baptistery were removed and relics destroyed. The mosaics depicting Jesus, his mother Mary, Christian saints, and angels were eventually destroyed or plastered over. Islamic architectural features were added, such as a minbar (pulpit), four minarets, and a mihrab – a niche indicating the direction of prayer (qibla). From its initial conversion until the construction in 1616 of the nearby Sultan Ahmed Mosque, aka the Blue Mosque, it was the principal mosque of Istanbul.

[h1]Experienced on the Meta Quest 3[/h1] This is a neutral recommendation. I think this experience is overpriced for what it is. If this were photogrammetry level of visual fidelity, then I could possibly recommend it at the listed price. However, it's just the Unreal Engine and a nicely modeled environment where you can either walk or teleport around. The app is actually using the VRGK UE game kit! So there isn't much original programming here. To be fair, it is a nicely modeled 3D environment of the Holy Mosque of Hagia Sophia the Grand. However, there are artificial boundaries. Also, the audio tidbits have poor audio quality and you can even hear background noise in the audio. Navigating the game is very clunky, like they relied solely on VRGK to make the game playable in VR. There's only a few VR interactions like holding a torch. The negative reviews that say that only the ground floor exist or one room are mistaken. There is a secret underground part of the game where you can get a CD key. I got the key but I don't know what to do with it and I really don't want it. It's a Steam key for one of their other crappy games. This is basically one single level room. It's a very nicely done single level room with some neat audio attached to the objects in it but within minutes I'd come to the conclusion that I wasn't keeping this 'game'. There just isn't enough to it to keep me interested for even the two hours after which Steam won't refund my purchase. I intend to go through it a bit more and then delete it. Step inside one of history’s greatest monuments. Wherever you are in the world, do not die without visiting Hagia Sophia. If you cannot come to Istanbul, then you should buy this project. Travel as if you were in VR whenever you want. Be sure to search for its secret rooms and you can explore the history of 1000 years ago underground.
Hagia Sophia sacred temple.Currently the most beautiful VR experience in the world. It was great to explore the underground secret rooms of Hagia Sophia. I found the secret key and received the free game. Don't forget to turn the handle when you find it. The CD key appears after that. It wasn't too hard to find the X sign, though. Congratulations, I want more new assignments to come.
