First off, it's not a super deep narrative, nor does it tell an emotionally charged or thought-provoking story, and it never even really explains why the world/universe is full of sentient sloths. Instead, it's essentially a rags-to-riches/zero-to-hero story about competing in high-octane races to build a fanbase while winning championships across various regions, serving as a fun justification for the gameplay rather than trying to be anything overly ambitious. What really elevates the narrative, though, is the writing and the cast of characters you meet along the way, which give the campaign a surprising amount of personality and charm. Before I started playing, I had seen in the "About This Game" section of the store page that there was a campaign, but I expected nothing more than a simple arcade racer with a playlist of random races and no framework as to any kind of real narrative. Honestly for less than £5 on sales it's well worth it and it's a pretty overlooked game. I didn't expect much but in the end, it's a decent combat racer. Physics are not the best but overall it's good fun and the career mode keeps things varied.

I think it is a great game, some really good ideas, buy it on sale.

The trailer and screenshots don't mention that all the characters are humanoid sloths. This rules! Why do all the promo materials hide it? Fun racing game with big, heavy cars and clutter-filled tracks. The campaign mode is cool and upgrading your car and its weapons is fun. If you're having performance issues, the game defaults to borderless windowed mode. Changing to fullscreen was a big improvement for me!
