With Eyes Closed - Season 1 is a thriller in the adult visual novel genre. It concentrates on storytelling, realistic characters, and letting players control the development of the story. The game also features plenty of hot scenes that are interwoven into the storyline.
STORY You came to consciousness in the trunk of a car. You don't remember who you are and how you got there. Your hands are cuffed, and two dead bodies are lying around. But very soon you will learn that this is not the biggest of your problems. Will you make it out alive? Will you find out who kidnapped you and why? Will you learn whom you can really trust and who is just using you for their own purposes?

The setting of a story is often as important, if not more so, than the characters in that story. The first season of With Eyes Closed starts by throwing the MC in a world with more questions than answers. Imaging waking up in a clinic with an attractive doctor taking care of you and no memory of your past. Then the reality hits, you have been smuggled into a city that is meant to house the trouble makers of the nation, a city run by thugs and convicts with no connection to the outside world, no security, no police, and no way out thanks to the technology that evaporates anything that comes close to the walls of the city. This is where humanity's evolutionary tribal thinking kicks in and the city is divided into many tribes (read gangs) run by their leaders, no laws, only rules set by the factions and consequences for breaking them. The story is the meat here but being an adult game it also features many lewd scenes with a good touch of female psychology thrown in the mix. This is not a game that makes a plot to connect one lewd scene to another, rather it is a deep plot that rewards story progression with romance which makes the experience quite rewarding. It's not for me, but I can still recommend it
I really like this game. It has a good story with a lot of choices that affect the gameplay. There are a lot of twists and turns within the story, and there are some really good combat sequences. Hopefully, season 2 is just as good

lovely, but short. Animations / Graphics are great, Sound is okay. eh Story itself is quite enjoyable, loved it. I give it overall a 8,5/10
I am a fan of Ker's previous work, Going Rogue, so I had to pick this one up as well, and I am happy I did. "With Eyes Closed" has a fun cast of characters, and 3 beautiful LI's (Kate was my favorite) as well as a handful of side girls that you have a scene or two with in a less serious relationship. An interesting aspect I enjoy about Ker's games, is that while not technically classified as a harem game, there are no punishments (mostly, use common sense here and there) for enjoying all the scenes with all the main girls. I would definitely recommend this game! (continued review on season 2 of "With Eyes Closed")
