Lust Theory - Season 1

Another favourite game, of course playing for the second time, Very nice renders and nice groundhog day story.

this game wasn't that bad. the story isn't anything crazy right now, but the time loop mechanic did keep me interested and i think it has potential to get better in future seasons. i also liked that the game gives you hints on what to do next instead of making you repeat the same day over and over hoping something changes. the romance is nice, although some characters were definitely more interesting than others. unfortunately you have to progress everyone's route to continue the ones you like and finish the main story, and there were a few characters that i honestly just wanted to skip. zoe is best girl and it's not even close. she's cute, shy and her relationship with the mc was easily the part i enjoyed the most. i'm really hoping season 2 expands on that aswell. the voice acting is suprisingly good despite the roster being only 2 people, and the mc actually has a personality, which already puts it above a lot of ther eroge VNs. that said, the game definitely has its flaws. like some animations and cgs look pretty chopped, and a lot of the nsfw scenes feel like they're just there for the sake of it. sometimes the characters go from meeting each other to doing it like 30 sec…

fun premise

This is pretty much the gold standard of adult games, in my opinion. I beat the game in about 42 hours, but I mostly kept going back to it to complete the achievements (there was a recent bug with one of them that finally got fixed). The game has a good story and great characters which draw you into the experience. While the dialogue and writing are not exactly award winning (lots of typos and some weirdness in some parts) it's not so bad as to detract from the story, (and honestly, it's better than a lot of other adult games I've played). The game play is simple (it's essentially a visual novel), but there are lots of hidden things to find and uncover, increasing replay-ability. The voice acting is excellent (except for the AI narrator - although you can turn that off). Ultimately the key here is the game works on the one level you play an adult game for: arousal. Based on that alone, the game is an easy 5 out of 5. It does a great job of building tension with the story, and while the payoffs take some time, they're worth it in the end.
