I don't know why I have this game in my library, but I gave it a try. I only played the core game, leaving the expansion behind because it is not that it is a bad game, but it isn't particularly interesting in its gameplay. The graphics are basic but enough, while the background music is complementary to the theme. The best thing I found about this game is how it invites you to experience different kinds of not-so-common music by playing an instrument typical of the genre at the end of a planet and giving information about the instrument, and the genre in general, in between levels. I think that the main purpose of the game was, yes, to entertain, but also to serve as a platform to further explore the music genre, providing even links to enrich the cultural spot of the game. I, in particular, was very attracted to the 80's japanese ambient music and I will give it a look. That being said, most of the background music, although, again, enough and superficially similar to the genres they are trying to portray, it is not really what it sounds like in the real world. ive never played a game with more frustrating controls!!!

Would be a lovely little game if it weren't for the godawful control scheme that demands you swipe the mouse around as if you're playing with a touch screen, which is egregious to the point that I'm constantly having to fight the damn thing just to undo moves. What doesn't help is its insistence on taking control away when I accidentally cause it to run into the end of the path in the process. I wanna like this because conceptually it's right up my alley but this is just actively annoying to play.

So much fun, highly recommended to anyone interested in puzzles and music. Blended them very well.

Fun little puzzle game where you learn music history. Find yourself stuck? Just chill to with the loop for a while, and maybe you'll find the Ryt-moves. ;) I played the demo of this on my phone way back and wasn't expecting to see it on Steam. Having studied music / music history way back in school, this fits into mu little niche of a niche.

A wonderful ear-candy of a game, for ears and eyes alike. The soothing music and pleasant visuals create a very cozy and enjoyable experience, complemented with both simple and also some quite challenging, yet all fun to solve, puzzles. And you also get some interesting trivia about some music and instruments as a bonus.
