Unyielding

I went in thinking it'd be a VN with LGBTQIA+ themes and that would be sweet! Yep. Lots of queer here, but not enough. There is decent story writing, if glaringly unedited. The combat was merely pedestrian. I opted to skip it after the first ten battles. Some concerns: Forced transition. Oof. SA is rampant. Nope. Sexual harassment is over-the-top. Another nope. Having sex on offer - cool. That's why I bought it. Not taking no for an answer - uhhh... uninstall. [spoiler] Cately (main character/MC) is hard-wired for bone town, no matter what you do. "Strong urges" means peen. She can't stop wanting peen. Huh. As a gal who likes p$#%y, that's not what I bought the game for. [/spoiler] The video made me think Cately could romance the MC's lesbian gal pal - who is hella into her, btw. >>>>Nope.<<<< "Hardwired straight in either gender." i loved this game, i got this for NSFW reasons but the story grabbed me pretty quickly the game does have a lot of minor annoyances for me most of which are UI related, but none of them were enough to actually pull me out of the dialogue the climax actually brought me to tears (but that might just be that i am a sucker for those kinds of events)

Hidden gem. This was so much more and better than expected for that price, what the heck. 20 hours went in the blink of an eye wtf? First and foremost a narrative experience, lewd game second and with a combat system that's kind of fun, but not too deep BUT can also be switched off completely (I played every combat part though on normal though). One of the few games I liked where the majority of h-scenes were text only. but there's also quite a number of CGs. They were all written pretty good with no overly dramatic language or cringe. Every dialogue were actually pretty natural, so you'll stay for the adventure, which is actually pretty good and containing much more content than expected, with choices even. Some bugs still exist, so save often. And some spelling/grammar mistakes. None of that deterred me from enjoying this gem.

Better world-building than your standard D&D setting; adventurers actually have a societal role, and religion isn't just reskinned Christianity. It lightly pokes at its kinks, though it isn't any sort of deep interrogation. Definitely more of a kinetic novel, especially early and late in the game, but the middle has some light exploration. The combat minigame is optional, but should be very familiar to anyone familiar with 5E D&D. It is entirely absent from the endgame. Fray is best girl, but alas for Froy.

Unyielding has done a good job with the following - fascinating and consistent lore - art work and environment is very well drawn - compelling plot - combat system that responds to user's choices I do think the following aspects can be improved - make story decisions consequences matter more - make combat longer - a more indepth combat tutorial Overall, I think Unyielding provides good entertainment value.
