Skattered Dream is yet another of literally thousands of 2D retro pixel platformers infesting Steam and lowering the average quality of all video games everywhere. This shovelware platformer is a very basic bare bones platformer with ultra low fi pixel "art" that looks worse than what you might expect to see on an Atari 2600 (it's that bad and lazy). Gameplay is equally uninspired and badly polished... this is a train wreck amongst train wrecks. From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. A choice was made to use obsolete, decades old retro pixel "art" as a substitute for contemporary PC graphics. It's unclear if this is due to lack of budget or talent, regardless, the overall visual quality of the game is extremely low as a result. There's no options to change the resolution for the game or customise the graphics settings. The game is fun, and the developer is a nice guy :)1 found this helpful
This game is Great! It starts out pretty slow but after a few levels can get pretty hard. 10/10 would recommend. good game for the price! I love the little hats that you get after each level! It would be nice to be told when you get one though. That's my only problem. Edit: The music is a little boring and gets old after a while. However, the mute button helps. ;)1 found this helpful
