What is this trend of Asian developers charging a lot of money for a game and then not even bothering to get the translations right? Just tried to play 2 games from Asian developers with horrible dialogue translations. And yet they are charging nearly $20? One of them didn't even have voice actors! I don't mind paying more for a game if it's got all the bells and whistles. But if I need a translator to decipher the horrible dialogue, I would expect the price to be reduced a bit. Have played adventure games for years but there were never this many half assed developers even 5 years ago. Really muddying the market
Good Puzzles, good story. that's all you need to know. My only criticism is the dialogue might need a few fixes in some areas of the game.
Amazingly sweet art, pixel art, portraits and animations, very fun atmosphere all around, and a proper adventure story! Go experience it. Wish there were more games like this, or even in the same universe. That was very enjoyable~!
I really enjoyed playing through the game, I didn't notice issues with the language as others have but I'm also dyslexic. lol, I really hope they make another!
Great game i really enjoyed this adventure, it really felt like actually playing through a real novel all the way through. The only thing i can really complain about "sadly it's a pretty big deal considering the purpose of the game" it's painfully obvious to see at a lot of points in the games "texts" that English is not the first spoken or native language this game was made for, there are unfortunately a lot of misspellings, it's some that you can look away from if it doesn't bother you too much, but they are very easy to see every now and then. The only bad thing about that is that if you are very deeply invested in the story as i was, it can sadly pull you out of it in an instant when you see a whole line of misspelled/mis-translated words and sentences that didn't come out right when "translated" beside that i'd say this game is a 7/10.
