Onsen Master

While overall, the concept of this game IS pretty fun and I do love a good overcooked style game...this leaves a lot to be desired. The tutorial tells you outright wrong information about what buttons to press, and sometimes seems to forget what you're on. I was using mouse + keyboard. (Mouse does nothing, so ...not really an aspect of it). For guiding guests it told me to use m or n or BOTH - which was good, and worked. Also jumping was space. Then it told me "get in there and grind the goods" but didn't give me how to do it. I tried m + n, I tried jumping, nothing. THen I systematically poked every button on my keyboard until I got to j which started it...but multiple j presses did nothing. But if I did j + k, suddenly I was able to grind things. Then cleaning the floor was another button entirely - which I was informed was "right trigger' like you'd see on a controller, not a keyboard. Again I had to systematically try everything until I found out that it wanted me to hit x. Overall not great. Then remapping I couldn't remap everything, just m, n, space, and x but then it wouldn't acknowledge half the buttons on the keyboard. Like trying to remap the x to p - nope, didn't wor…

This is a great concept for a game and fun play style, but it's so buggy. Think along the lines of overcooked but simpler mechanics... - Most Achievements are broken (other than clean x amount of each person) - Keyboard and Mouse do not work (although this doesn't seem to be a problem for everyone) - I often put the right ingredient in the onsens but the game wouldn't register it. I got this game as part of a bundle and honestly I'm glad I didn't pay the full price for it, It's a good game but it needs some love and ultimate seems abandoned by devs just from looking at the discussion board. I'd pick this game up in a sale for 50% off or anything above. A shame really, I hope the devs come back to give it more love that it deserves!

The game starts off fun but then by 3-3 it becomes infuriating. For example the pathing in 3-1 was already frustrating but the boss mechanics in 3-3 made the game go from fun but challenging to agonising. And then the pathing in 4-1 made me quit entirely.

Onsen Master is not a good game, kinda glad I bought on a discount cause I fell rip off. To start the game tutorial is broken glad I could skip it but the downside I have to learn the game the hard way by trial and error. The final boss is so unbalance, you never got time to beat it. The achivement are also broken great... The detection is very janky at the time, you want the ingrediant but sadly since the customer is so close most of the time you grab the customer instead of the ingrediant. At least the game is short 3 hours to finish the main story. Overall I dont recomend this game maybe if you have a coop partner it could be more berable that play on SP

Basically an abandoned game. Technically possible to play using a keyboard, but really inconvenient. And if you have a widescreen monitor, you're out of luck, there is no way to make it work without changing the screen resolution

I stole half of this review from the kopierkatze I can recommend this game. I bought it because I like these fast-paced management games and I'm a fan of Onsen, but I started it on easy and it wasn't manageable at all. Customers jump into your baths consistantly, ruining the water. They're going in baths with different ingredients than they wish for, making it impossible to maintain anything at the lowest levels. You can't keep up with anything, and thats whats fun about it. arcade games are alil chaotic punishable and unmanagable could they create a better flow yes but it wouldnt be as chaotic and fun. OMG I SO WISH I WAS IN SPIRITED AWAY, damn word? that place really looks tidy and normal. If I were to change something would be more speed on cleaning the floor when the ground is all moist and attributing score for each puddle you clean up, maybe even adding for the timer. Gamers care too much about consistecy and other things that really takes out of the experience of playing the game. get a game like tapper there's a structure right but the developer never mixes the layout, if we take out the glasses comming back the game becomes way more managable but it also way more stale and…
