You get drunk, soak a towel, and whack people with it. It makes a satisfying thud. What more do you want?1 found this helpful
This isn't based on the merit of the game itself, but rather the lackluster way Soak & Splash was designed to boot up without any sort of startup menu whatsoever. You're unable to mess with any settings when this game first starts, and are forced to interact with a random TV screen in the starting room to bring up a menu for adjusting things like graphics settings and particle effects. That might not be such a huge issue if the game didn't set the graphics settings to 'High' by default, and run so janky that I could barely move my character around, let alone interact with anything in the game. I managed to select 'Low' settings as if by some miracle, but then actually applying those changes is just as difficult because the Apply button is clear at the top left corner of the TV screen, and I don't even really know what random keyboard button I hit to even select anything for the graphics settings to begin with. The implementation of the game's settings menu into the gameplay of the game was a poorly thought-out choice. Perhaps if you could set them prior to starting the game, and then also adjust them within the game the way it is, it might not be that bad. But for a game to b…

Water fight battle royale? Yes. Unreal levels of chaos with squirt guns. Genuinely hilarious with friends. The music slaps too.
