At some point in this game a radio station host has someone call in on the night show to share a scary experience he just had somewhere outside. And it acts as ominous foreshadowing and a red herring suspense builder while simultaneously expanding upon the scale of oppression well past the confines of the apartment building. This sole moment secured it a thumbs up from me.

Good game, although it's really buggy, so keep that in mind. There's several ways to softlock or glitch your controls which I personally only managed to fix by completely reinstalling the game. Game has no save function, because of this you must play it in one sitting. While the game isn't super long, it's longer than I thought for a game of this price - this is a plus but makes the no saving really awful, pair that with the fact that you may end up completely locked out by various bugs it can feel like a bit of a drag. One of the most notable bugs I had 2 times now was if you skip dialogue with fast forwarding(hitting space or clicking on the screen) you can end up glitching your UI making you completely unable to progress, in which case the only fix for me past that point was reinstalling as it would happen from that point on regardless of if I skipped dialogue or not. Game is definitely a gem, it's got a cool concept and I appreciate the homage to Silent Hill: The Room, which for its time was a innovative and ambitious project. It gives very vaporwave, muted pixels, PS(not ps2 imo) vibes. It's an interesting creative piece of art that was surprisingly well made, bugs aside.

This title straight up oozes with atmosphere. That great comforting feeling of a city at night, altough sadly you´re holed up inside. While the game is short at a little over 2 hours, that means it doesnt overstay its welcome. It also gives room to interpret a deeper meaning into the story. Can´t really complain about the price already but should you see it on sale definetly grab it for a snack. Totally average but still a great time! Recommend if you're looking for a short horror experience with fantastic atmosphere :D / CONS / - No save system :( this messed me up right at the very end which was annoying - The text is SUPER SLOW and I accidentally skipped text thinking I could speed it up LMFAO.. I'm an extremely fast reader so this could've just been a me problem though - A little bit boring and uninteresting, but like nothing offensive.. It's a short horror game by an independent developer so this is not that big of a deal / PROS / - AMAZING atmosphere! Reminded me of staying at my sister's apartment right in the middle of the city, I felt so incredibly immersed! - Great sound design!! Again, I felt like I was really there ^ I also loved Aava's theme music, I looked forward to it when talking to her - Cool monster designs - Just overall a good time! I loved the silent hill 4 esc themes, the puzzles were simple but good, and I really enjoyed myself playing it. Also nice that it has 2 endings! I hope to see more from this dev in the future <3

A quick game with heavy themes of loneliness, isolation, connection, suicide, and emptiness with clear artistic and environmental inspiration taken from Silent Hill. Pros: Sound design is great Music fits the atmosphere well and its well made Environments feel natural despite pretty much being limited to an apartment The tv shows connect interestingly with the themes It shows accurate depictions of isolation, longing, and loneliness I loved the surreal elements of the game, such curtains being sewn together. Cons: Unclear progression. At multiple points you will find yourself having to just click random things in order to move the game along and there really could have been a better direction from the game to let you know what you need to do next. This does happen but I hit multiple walls playing this and had to rely on a guide. Dialogue is written a bit clunky and doesn't really feel natural At one point the main character just throws a bloody knife out the window? Why? Who would do that? The sound effect for the piece of paper on the window loops way too long. I don't really think that it needed to be there in order for us to notice it or maybe they could have just …

I like it, if it's on sale I'd recommend it elsewise you don't really get a ton, being unable to pre-empt item collection is kind of annoying, the art style and vibes are great though.
