It's a highly uncanny experience, at times even psychedelic. I wouldn't recommend it to people who are sensitive to bright colors and flashing lights or to those who are impatient, but the experience itself is actually thought-provoking if you look at the events more deeply.

blank_01 is a really strange little horror game that I found much more interesting than its simple appearance first suggests. The whole experience is built around routine. I live in an ordinary house, go to work, eat, sleep and then do basically the same things again. At first it feels almost boring on purpose, but that is exactly what makes the atmosphere work. I started noticing small details and wondering when something was finally going to change. The gameplay is extremely simple. I move around the house and interact with things while following the routine of an ordinary worker. There are everyday tasks to complete, and none of them are particularly complicated. What I liked is that the repetition becomes part of the horror rather than just being something to get through. The more familiar everything becomes, the more unsettling it feels when something is slightly different. The game does a good job of creating tension without constantly throwing monsters or loud scares at me. The house feels empty and strangely uncomfortable, even when nothing obvious is happening. I found myself paying attention to rooms, objects and little changes in my surroundings because I knew the game…

I liked the game, especially due to the fact it doesn't rely on screaming monsters in a maze all the time. However, I think that one fish-like vision could be removed, it's really annoying to actually see anything.
