This game is such a perfect combination of combat gameplay and cozy scenery. I love that the town has Stardew Valley vibes and a rich backstory that gets better and better the longer you play. It's hard not to get addicted to a game that has both boba and a quest to defeat evil spirits.4 found this helpful

Fun rogue-like with a nice twist with the lunar blood and rot mechanics. Have had some great moments on my last legs with lunar rot going all in on dash attacks desperate to get to the next room. Keen to see more from the team! (also can give cat scritches, 10/10 no notes)2 found this helpful

The best parts about Midautumn are its characters, artwork, music, and storyline. The characters are charming and down-to-earth. Their character designs stand out. The background art, sprite art, and environments look great. The storyline is related to the Midautumn Festival, which is celebrated in many Asian countries. There are also many elements from various Asian folklore, not just Chinese. The game is personally meaningful to me, being a part of the Asian diaspora (specifically Vietnamese). It's just so rare to see Vietnamese in media anywhere... As for its worst parts...I'll be honest, the launch day could've been better. The game still had too many bugs. It felt like it was released too soon. However, since the Midautumn team has steadily improved the game with bug patches and addressing players' concerns, I still feel that the game has a lot of potential. But...if you want a fully polished game, I would suggest waiting for the game to be on sale when it's a lot further in its development. I don't regret buying it on launch day. I hope my purchase will help fund the Midautumn team's game development. This is also my first time directly participating in a video game's deve…2 found this helpful
