Faithful recreation of the original console game that brings back all the memories. If you remember this game as a kid you can relive it now again on modern PC hardware. Screaming Villains has been knocking it out of the park bringing back classic Digital Pictures games to modern hardware and bringing back memories of childhood. Thanks SV!

"Kids on Site" isn't just a game; it's an immersive journey that seamlessly blends education with entertainment, offering an experience that touches both the mind and the heart. From its inception, this game captivates players with its engaging gameplay mechanics, vibrant visuals, and most importantly, its profound message. What sets "Kids on Site" apart is its ability to instill valuable lessons in young minds while they're having fun. Through its interactive gameplay, players are not just passive participants but active learners, discovering the importance of teamwork, problem-solving, and creativity as they navigate through various challenges. Each level presents a new opportunity for growth, both intellectually and emotionally. But beyond its educational value, "Kids on Site" excels in its portrayal of empathy and compassion. It is not really a game but a bunch of short, somewhat funny clips from the late 90s. You choose an angle, push a button, and watch a clip. That's the whole "game". You can go through them in around an hour, so you can get a refund! How nice! But kudos for the HD remaster! Oh, and you can tell the rest of the reviews are paid because nobody mentions that the excavator achievements are buggy, and they don't pop. Don't buy this, just watch it on YouTube for free! I absolutely adored Kids on Site as a kid. The original game is very much a childrens game through and through - short, repetitive, simple and most of its "substance" is in slapstick gags and sound effects, and yet I burned away constant hours enthralled. I actually bought a new boxed copy after losing my original many years ago. When I saw a studio had taken the time to port it to Steam, I nabbed it immediately, I was very excited to give it a try all these years later. That excitment drained away quickly, and they were even further dashed by a recent unannounced update that made things somewhat worse than better. Here's everything you should be aware of: [list] [*]This game is incredibly overpriced for what it is. It's currently at $21.50AUD. Given how little effort has gone into this package, and how much value you can buy for that much money on Steam even without a sale, it just doesn't make sense. [*]This game is a remake in the Unity engine with upscaled videos, a new UI, unlockable bonus content, Steam achievements and a prototype/demo version includedcalled "Demolition Kids", helping to increase the playtime and replayability value somewhat over the original. …
