Paracesium

This game is pretty good, jumpscares are scary, gameplay is a little laggy, I like the menu page, I like the helper notes, I think people should give a try.

Novel concept executed relatively well. This game leans heavily on its greatest strengths — ambiance and body horror — to create tension and dread, and it succeeds on both fronts. That being said, I wish there had been some form of guidance during the opening portion of the experience. Forgoing tutorials and UI can work well for AAA titles built within established genres, but it feels like an unwise decision when attempting something genuinely novel while relying on vague, untested mechanics. Finally, this yet another example of an indie game which suggests UWHD support within the settings but hasn't actually executed a way to do that in a playable way. In this case, using my native UWHD resolution left the analyze/extract features unavaible to me and because they were superimposed on one another - i didn't even realize that i was able to analyze/extract "specimens" for an hour which rendered the game nearly impossible to play. It was only when i reduced to a non-native resolution - which sucks as UWHD monitors have been in play for half a decade now. Paracesium is an indie horror game that thrives on tension, discomfort, and psychological pressure rather than relying on traditional survival horror formulas. This was a really fun but creepy game. And it's definitely not so complicated that you anyone can't resolve the puzzles and complete each level Great game, def recommend!

I played a lot of time in the demo and it was an amazing game in it's early stages, and playing it now is a breath of fresh life and it really brings a new genre to the indie scene, if you have not played this game already, you really need to.
