◆About

Chirality is derived from the ancient Greek word χειρ, which originally meant “hand” — and then evolved into “chirality”, meaning that two objects, like the right and left hands, are similar in form but cannot match the mirror image. They are similar but different.
Can you find the one mattering to you between two people who are similar in some sense?

◆Story

The story of this game is centred on “hand”. From the perspective of protagonist Jingchu Li, the players will find the most special pair of hands for themselves.
Jingchu Li is a Department of Fine Arts student who loves painting “hands” as his subject.

One day, he saw a pair of gorgeous hands in an advertisement which attracted him so much that he vowed to find this hand model.
Unfortunately, at that time, there were a series of murder cases of hand-chopping that shocked the whole society. To avert suspicion, Jingchu Li has to stop looking for the hand model, but his life has still changed drastically because of it —
He discovers that there is a strange neighbour near his residence, who is usually silent and seems to be watching him secretly; the student of the Department of Music he met during the performance is similar to the hand model he is looking for, but he hesitates to meet him for many reasons.

The quietness of the campus is broken when Liang, the campus belle who was a good friend of Jingchu Li’s, is found dead in the school building and becomes the victim of the case of hand-chopping-aholic. Jingchu Li immediately becomes the object of investigation by the police force. Terrifyingly, the murderer seems to see him as the next target...

I won this game through SteamGifts and I played it for Play or Pay 4th Cycle of 2025 and it was picked for me by Fynyx. I really wanted to like Chirality, but honestly, it was pretty disappointing. The art is gorgeous — that’s easily the best part of the whole game — but everything else just kind of falls flat. The story had potential, but it’s messy, hard to follow, and the English translation feels like it was run through Google Translate. It’s full of weird phrasing and grammar issues, which completely kills any emotional impact the story might’ve had. On the NSFW side, the game doesn’t require any extra patching, which is nice, and the adult scenes are handled well enough overall. That being said, one of them is non-consensual, so definitely keep that in mind if that’s something you’d rather avoid. Overall, even with the nice visuals, I can’t really recommend the game. The writing and translation are just too rough to make it enjoyable for me personally, and the story never finds its footing. Unless you’re purely in it for the art, I’d say skip this one.

Ahahah! Okay, okay...! The English is MUCH better in this one than in "Sub for You". (Reading them by date of release). The art was already nice before and here they tried more "moves" in CGs. That's cool. (Note: These observations were based off the "True End". The game has multiple Bad Ends, some ending in cruel events. I tend to try and remember the good things, so I can't comment on the... Other ones...) Now... This is a "mystery/detective" somewhat story too and... I swear... You can figure out who the culprit is almost right away. And if not, then the same clues will be told to you over and over... To a point where you will go... "Hey MC, why in the hell don't YOU know who the BAD GUY IS?!" In the MCs defense I will say this: we all have a "blind spot" and don't always notice something is up... Unless we pay attention. People like that exist. But I mean... Unless the MC was "showed concrete evidence" he didn't put anything together... I mean... That's what it was for the MC... But what about the Detectives?... Goodness... XD Okkkaaaayyy... The other parts... While "Sub for You" had charm and trauma/drama going for the MCs... This one was based mo…

this is the worst ♥♥♥♥ i've ever played and i thought the person in the comments who said that even AI could write a better game than this was just being dramatic but they are correct in their words. beautiful artwork but does not make up for the lack of thought or effort put into this crap. i hope the artist was compensated greatly because this might actually be the most nothingburger thing i've ever played but it makes sense because from the looks of the games made by this company they seem to just enjoy pumping out crap and hoping they someday get a hit or maybe if they produce enough low quality work then it'll be enough to make a living. do not play this there are stories from 5 year olds that interest me way more than this did. i can tell they didnt even try either cause why the ♥♥♥♥ is the mc acting like hes a genius when hes just a dumb artist what he know about poppies theres nothing pointing to him being knowledgable about flowers is this something all artists should know about or something. and all of the characters are bland they start a relationship with the mc out of nowhere like hey i like you but what is there even to like hes boring as hell but whatever

Very good game and very interesting, but still needs tons of work! PLEASE BUY WITH CAUSION! The story was very nice and simple, so it isn't something very difficult to understand and follow. The art was very good and I liked it a lot! I got it on discount, so I would actually recommend getting it on discount because it has problems all over the place... My issues were mostly in the way that the story was being told and the fact that there were a lot of spelling and grammar issues. When they were talking about a female character, it would say he instead of she, so after a while you would get confused about who the characters were referring to. But before you judge it, maybe the team who did this probably doesn't speak English or have someone whose English is their first language, and the team itself is maybe? not a big team, meaning that they might need more feedback in terms of writing and making the story better to understand since there are not a lot of people on the team? From what I saw in their pages, they seem to have tons of games developed, but again, I am not sure. I loved the artwork and the saving system! It's been a while since I was able to complete a game so quickl…

Chirality is a narrative-driven boys’ love visual novel that blends mystery, investigation, puzzle-solving, and psychological suspense into a surprisingly engaging package. Developed by 有月工作室, 冬蟲夏草, and BlueBerry 藍莓社, and published by Playmeow and ACG creator, the game follows Jingchu Li, an artist whose fascination with drawing hands becomes intertwined with a strange series of events involving a mysterious neighbor and an abandoned house hiding secrets beneath its quiet exterior. What initially appears to be a personal story about curiosity and relationships gradually evolves into a deeper and darker mystery that keeps players invested from beginning to end. The game's strongest feature is its storytelling. Rather than relying on constant dramatic twists, Chirality carefully builds tension through gradual discoveries and subtle clues. Every conversation, observation, and piece of evidence contributes to a larger narrative puzzle. The writing encourages players to pay attention to details, rewarding careful observation with a stronger understanding of the unfolding mystery. This slow-burn approach helps create a genuine sense of intrigue and makes the eventual revelations feel ea…
